Monika, hi. I have walked the camino several times so I am always on youtube looking for new videos from people who just walked it. So I have seen a lot of camino videos. I don't remember seeing one as touching as yours. You found a great camino family to share your adventure with. I hope that the necklace you left at the cruz does indeed help you let go of the past. Buen Camino forever.
Hello. Great Video! You said you waked in the winter season. May I ask what months? If the situation allows, I plan to start in November and finish around the end of the year. Buen Camino!
I traveled in November and December. It is not cold there but it rains frequently, so the main road in the first stage from St Jean pied de port to Roncesvalles is closed during this period. You have to choose to follow the directions to Roncesvalles via Valcarlos. The weather can be capricious but there are not many pilgrims during this period and it is not stuffy. The downside is that many auberge is closed and you have to plan a lot where you want to stay. Anyway, you'll get a list of hostels in the office at the very beginning. If you need more information, please write :))) Buen Camino!
@@taknika - thanks for the response Monica. I have plane reservations and hope to fly to Europe in November. The current virus situation may prohibit this. But I am hoping. Thanks for the tip on the alburges. I will make it a point to discuss this with the staff at the pilgrims office. Buen Camino!
