Welcome to CASCHA's world I am Cascha, a solo indie game developer in China I also fell in love with cameras to record the footage in my eyes. I love music and have created some of my own songs This is my personal channel to share my works If you like pls subscribe and follow me.
wow, your camera movement is really perfect... I like this video, it's dynamic. even though camera moves rather slowly, - frames are changing fast, and city is dynamic itself (with it's angled objects, buildings, taking up entire frame) in contrast to really slow, static nature shots, forests, etc. and your panning is so smooth! even rotating camera when filming flowers. cheers!
that's really cool... I was thinking before - maybe I could use hlg 10-bit 24 fps most of the time, and when slow-mo needed I would upscale 1080p in Topaz (it's youtube anyway - and we use 4k here to bypass compression). but your use of 60 fps slow mo is fantastic! it really makes me think about 4k 8-bit...
Hi there, I'm curious to know how you stabilised this video - it looks very smooth. Also keen to know what profile settings you use in camera to give you the range/scope to grade like this without being too destructive. Cheers :)
Hi there, thank you for the comment.my case I shot the scene by holding the camera steady and slowly panning left or right while I pressed the lock focus button, just in case the focus not flicking(it usually does with autofocus). I switch on e-stabilization. I use the natural profile with all the settings to the lowest(-5, sometimes -3) 1080p 60fps. and the rest is in Davinci resole studio to stabilize the footage in post, and most of the time it works pretty well.
Hi I graded it in resolve manually. didn't use a lut but dehancer pro plugin, and the camera setting is natural color profile with contrast and detail all the way to -5.
@@CaschaGames Thanks To be honest your colourgrading is awesome Make a lut out of it and Ask your viewers to subscribe to get that lut so both should be benifited
Thank you for the courage, I make those videos as a hobby for now, but I do plan to create some more serious videos in the future while I am still learning the shoot and color grade skills. and you should do it too.:P
I want to see more, please share more of your creations with any camera, anything that comes from you will be good no matter the gear, you proven that here.
Thank you, yes since I had used Sony Fx30 and Lumix S5, I realized it is true, gears is only a tool. More important is how you manage it to fit for your imagination. :P
So sad that a video like this doesn’t get all the views and all the comments, people just want to talk mega pixels, but none wants to comment on actual results, because it is from an older discontinued model.
Thank you so much for this video, I almost didn’t click on it, I was about to skip, but am so glad that I watched it, hidden gem 💎, we need more videos like this, less gear talk, and more lets show off what you can do, here are the results, great stuff, I love Panasonic for videos, nothing can match Panasonic video stabilization. Thank you for sharing quality results.
I really enjoyed the demo. The art looks cool:) Two things, though: there are many typos and cases of bad grammar. Maybe someone should proofread the text? Also, there is a free plugin called "Grammarly" that helps. Another thing is that whenever a student's bio pops up, it disappears too soon to read the whole text...
Hi, Thank you for the comment. I shot in dng Raw, color graded the footage in Davinchi Resolve and rendered each clip, and exported them, and then I edited them in Capcut with selected music. and that's it. I know it is not the most efficient way but suits me at this time.
@@obinnaokoye8109 Thank you, my favorate setting of Dehancer so far is the Kodak Ektachrome E100(2017) film and Kodak Endura Glossy Paper Print setting. I found the combo is fit my eyes very well.
hey there! very nice! do you know if there is a way to set the shutter button to start / stop recording? I know that the lx100 mk1 can do it, but I can‘t find the settings in the mk2. have a nice day!
I set the Fn1 button to record, it is very useful and easy to press. I didn't find a way to set the shutter button to rec, but the Fn1 is very close to it, you can have a try. I am very ok with it.
@@tzwhh204 Thanks I will, I am very like this small lightweight compact camera, because it's small I always bring it with me compare to my Sony FX30 and G9. Even it is only can shoot 8bit and only have 17m pixel. :-)
I manually rotate and check the green peak on the screen. and once it is kind of in focus I will not move the camera back and force, just left-right pan. hope u can understand what I said...
