Love your characters. You should create a coloring book of your characters. Some artists having coloring books with too many details and lines, but your artstyle provides more spacing to experiment with coloring.
Hi! Been on a binge of how artists fare at conventions and markets ❤ This video is so neat, and I especially wanted to let you know how beautiful I find your art 🥹🥰👏 Good day!!
Oml in the clip you played of the crowd at 6:45 you can see my friends giant Mihawk sword 😂 He kept it raised up so I’d stop loosing him in the crowd bc of how short I am 💀 In other news I’m glad you enjoyed your time in NC! It was amazing getting to meet you and see your art in person.
I'm not sure if this is the exact one since it was gifted by my friend, but this is pretty close! www.amazon.com/Displays2go-Literature-Organizer-Magazines-WRC6T18WT/dp/B008YXV87O/ref=sr_1_4_sspa?crid=2FY7BO54IKL0W&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.G2Vt62nlgO_3dhK3DEMMfY2ZkYk064Dxke0qQWv9gX-NBQ5Ea8PWfKqR03YXqXWp1c9epjaNi79GN_yoPFOysBgnHlGFchknjX9PXMm1nwgvgOBs9J5Agllx7_yrHCtsgHkZVmtYK_obXTxHL_m3ujz0aoMy0G51lSjGJ5h7evxhsqsKIN2kJE1mKrkU8Y_W_P_ejhoJTV0Cix4MDmEPffDPlNhAHyn9U1PsA8sxxm5BBOnCNc8XkViZi8ywFnAZhOSg0yJ7E1xZ3rJakNH6Eh4B8-M_PLWBWBU2LeuLJPY.YRn4pjhLPSgFHFexIdk35E59kDEmfIVA0eGZGJZDrnQ&dib_tag=se&keywords=tall+magazine+rack&qid=1721922881&sprefix=tall+magazine%2Caps%2C153&sr=8-4-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1#customerReviews
I’m so sad I had to turn down AZ for colossalcon now seeing that you were there! Would’ve loved to buy some of your art. This is my home con and it’s so good to see others enjoying it. It’s such a fun time!
Omg hi! I was the artist that gave you the glow in the dark Angel Dust keychain! I'm so happy you liked it 💗 It was so amazing getting to meet you in person and I'm so glad to see Animazement went good for you!
The moment You started talking about the water leak, it began to rain where I am. It added a dramatic effect to your story 😆As always, great vlog, thank you for sharing your experience! ☺
I used to go to Animazement but now go to Momocon which happens the same weekend. If you ever want to try another out of state convention that may be a good one.
I was waiting for this video! I am so happy you enjoyed NC 😊. I REALLY wanted to meet you this year, but life didn't allow. If you come back, I'll be sure to look out for you~
Its nice to see things from so many peoples perspectives. I myself was in the vendor section at the con and had a great time. Also I see myself shopping in artist alley at the 24:41 stamp mark lol XD
Anywhere in the South isn't worth going to. I've experienced it and I'm never going back. They're all lookers. Your best bet for people to support and buy your art are ppl in the east, midwest, and west coast.
One of my big goals is to travel to more cities outside of the state to expand my audience, so I definitely agree! It’s difficult since I’m local to Florida but that’s the plan in the future 😂
@@Lalaineartgeeki wonder if when the fort lauderdale convention center opens back up some of these cons will take place there, bc honestly id prefer there than miami 😭😭
Yes! That venue is expensive AF because Miami freakin' Beach! Also parking is quite infamou$$$ there. You might want to consider GalaxyCon's Animate! 2025, which is going to be held where OtakuFest was last year. There's another Animate! in Orlando as well. Do check 'em out. Your level of work deserves good venues! And shout out to my table neighbor JohtoJax! Glad you caught him. He's an up-and-coming artist with great potential. Keep up the cool vids and never let down! Cheers!
I actually got accepted to Animate Orlando for next year so I’m curious to see how that goes!! And yes parking is crazy pricey 😅 JohtoJax is so sweet and I love his work too! Thank you so much btw!! 🥹🩷
Something I noticed in artist allies in the same state, if someone has been to my booth before and I didn't make enough new stock that it looks different enough, people will walk past. That's also why I've been traveling to neighbor states. Good luck!
This!! I’m doing my best to travel to other cities to expand my audience and when I do return to local shows, I aim to bring newer products to add variety 😭
I was there on the second day! The con was a lot of fun, but the table layout was definitely a bit cramped at times for some of the cosplayers wearing larger pieces (I was wandering half-blind in a TV head that day, not my best idea 😅). Overall though definitely had more fun at this year's con than last year, and the bigger venue was nice!
I wasn’t the biggest fan of the layout either 😅 hopefully next year they arrange something better, but I’m happy to hear that you had a great time too!
Ugh! Sorry to hear that Otakufest was not the best. Seems like you guys still had fun so that's good. I'm excited to see you again at Megacon next year!
You are doing a great job vlogging these events, this is one of my favorite channels. 😊 I recently bought a Tamaki keychain from your online store, I love it 🥰and every person I show it to mentions how beautiful it is.
a college convention is an excellent idea for a vacation-time event for the students/people that stay in town (with hot weather withstanding)! though i wonder about security and staff
Thank you for highlighting college cons! I really think people need to give them more of a try and this may be me being a bit biased due to my university (and our con being very small) but I will ALWAYS tell people as well to support the college cons! It's a lot of work to pull it off! <3
Agreed!! It really is a lot of work and I commend the students for doing such a great job! I will always hype up college cons because the community and support are amazing 🥺
I appreciate your artist alley vlogs so much - as s Floridian myself, it's interesting to see other cons around the state! I have to ask though, since you drive a lot to get to these cons - how do you deal with Florida traffic/drivers?? Omg!
I totally understand the pain of figuring out a new sleeping position when you get new piercings! When I got my doubles I had to learn to be a true back sleeper haha and when I got my first cartilage on my left ear, I was right-leaning for months 😂
I have a label printer (Munbyn) that I currently use to print shipping labels! But if the order is super small and they're flat items, I would use an envelope w/ stamps instead. However, lately I've been worried about orders being lost in the mail so sometimes I would spend the few extra dollars out of my pocket to print shipping labels no matter the order size :)
I remeber going and you were like one of the first people I baught art from, it was my fist con ever and it was very fun for me, I bought a few of the one piece boba arts
I’ve had the same issue with my munbyn printer is normally a format issue and I’ve solved it by scaling down the design to a 80 ish percent. But I imagine the percentage varies from sticker shape so I’ll say play around with the scale and see what works.
I was thinking the same thing, scaling down the design so it can easily be separated on each label! Thankfully I have other labels to test so I’ll definitely experiment 🫶 thank you!!
