Listening intently, then the force was awakened by the "blue and orange go bears" only colors I need are Green and Gold. Pretty dope vid tho even for a bears fan
Hey man, love your videos and have been learning a lot as I follow along. Quick question - I understand your project files are available through your Patreon. Will I be able to save your audio effect racks and stuff like that from your project file to use on others? Like your drum processing rack that you used on the drums group, for example. I'm on 11 Standard
Yo thank you for the kind words! Yes, you will also be able to directly download all of my racks, sample packs, and presets from the Patreon (: plus a ton of other videos on there and unreleased tunes/remixes
Very nice approach. I always wonder why some producers prefer laying drums as audio files on separate timelines instead of using drum rack - do you think it's just personal preference or these are suited for different workflows?
Why do Serum users have this obsession with scratch crafting presets when a literal thousand presets already exist, and it's guaranteed that the preset you're making already exists among those you already have, and new ones can be created with a minor tweak to an existing one? Can someone explain this to me?
@@noetikamusic Maybe some people take it too seriously. I go to watch a tutorial on say, making Dubstep. Half the video is the uploader twiddling around with synth knobs in stead of showing how to actually make a song. I mean, have your presets already in order and get to the lesson, chances are, the preset you're making already exists. Besides, I'm sure that the viewer can substitute another sound, and it's best to not just copy what you see, but actually use what you have. Who knows, you may create something unique and inspiring in the process!
Maybe a silly question but what's the fastest way to export all of these little clips into .wavs within your samples folder? Wish we could just drag n drop...
With sound design, the only point is to decide when you're done. It's a lot easier to write music when you export sessions like these, so you don't lose your flow state doing it later
Yo if you click “scale” in the bottom left of the midi after you click a clip, and then select a scale from that drop down, it’ll highlight the scale on your piano roll. Sick video. Call and response is a good way to put it
Really appreciate the work you put in to this. I’ve been really interested in this style for a while. My only critique is that I found the sound of your keyboard and mouse while touring the sounds a bit disruptive, but you played most things out enough I was still able to take in the sound for what it was. Thanks so much for the video. Keep it up!
