Hello, I'm Ricardo Escobar, owner of "Cardo's Car Dose" located in SoCal! Around late June in 2020 I wanted to start a business in something that I can serve with a passion. I love working on cars, seeing the improvements, impressing my clients with the results, and most importantly that sweet smell of car products and shampoos. I mean, who doesn't?
I also started a RU-vid channel shortly after so I can showcase my work and knowledge for you guys to view for your detailing pleasures. From classic before and after details, in depth product reviews, and tutorials for them knowledge gains!
At Cardo's Car Dose, I service all of my clients' vehicles with the highest quality of products, tools, and methods! Their satisfaction is my highest priority and I will ensure that all expectations are met! Now that is a Dose of Detailing Culture.
I have not updated the older videos only because it will take forever 😂 luckily everything is located on my website! Here is the link : www.cardoscardose.com/products-used
Nope! As long as it has a proper connection and the water can flow freely to the machine, it will be perfectly fine 👍 I once had my tank on the van but my machine was on the sidewalk. I used a 25ft garden hose, connected it to the machine, and worked! The principal remains the same as long as the machine is at a lower or equal height as the tank.
@@CardosCarDose fair enough. Seems like it foams like no other, jury is out if that’s good or bad but it looks the part. I’m gonna do a full correction on my really good condition 94 s10 and am researching what to use to gently decon before the clay mit and polisher come out
There are some trouble shooting methods to try out if your having problems 🤔 1. Place machine lower than the tank outlet port. 2. Avoid using wide low profile tanks as there is not enough water weight for gravity feeding 3. if nothing works, you may need an external pump Hopefully this helps somehow 🙏
That would be a no 👎 I made an impression video, but it was never a review video. My only complaint is that EcoFlow, at the moment, does not offer battery cell replacement after heavy usage. Basically turning your $3k investment into Ewaste once its lifespan runs short. If I had to start again, I would go with something like an Anker Battery, they are a more reputable company than EcoFlow, a chinese start up.
I'm using it a pre wash (when needed) in pump sprayer at a 1:5 ratio and it works well, I can by 20L of it for £30 here in the UK so It works out quite economical. I'm using the Turtle Wax Pure Wash soap for contact wash.
I have never owned own so I have no saying if it would work or not. Wont hurt to try with simple plumping if you have a tank available. Or you can ask a detailer that happens to have that same model as yours. 🤔
I just used traditional degreaser, straight. Will certainly knock off any films or protectants. You may use whichever that is readily available to you. 👍 For the rubber on the windows, you may apply it, but rinse almost immediately for a safe work area 🙌
This can be used as a standalone, no need to apply additional wax as a base layer. 👍 Paste wax is mostly for consumers who want to have a therapeutic session. Liquid spray waxes perform almost identically as paste waxes, but do not require so many steps like a paste wax would.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UP0et8lql0U.htmlsi=pWK4VYrbTQ-Mm5sJ interesting idea, though some channel has been testing apc on foam cannon 7 years ago.
I think the biggest advantage of sprayer is you get exactly dilution ratio you put in, while with foam cannon the apc sprayed on car is actually more diluted (to get the proximate ratio we need to measure how much water and apc solution pumped out in a minute and of course this will vary between pressure washer, foam cannon, and that knob setting on top)
100% True champ 👍 It is correct that the foam canon does dilute the chemical significantly. With my pressure washer (1322TS), if I pour APC straight, the output is somewhere around 1 : 50. This is a low dilution, however, still has plenty enough kick to cleanse the surface. My most recent video of a ceramic coating maintenance service demonstrates it in case you want to check it out. 😎 👍 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QvgTeoAvBrw.htmlfeature=shared
@CardosCarDose I did. Informative video there. Btw, is there any good reason to choose CarPro Reset (well known for its cleaning ability, while remain safe on paint) over APC (diluted properly) for maintain coated car?
Reset is just a soap, and soap is just soap, no matter how alkaline it is. APC on the other hand, is a highly reactive chemical that can certainly clean much more than the most alkaline soap. I do not recommend you use APC as a maintenance cleaner. I used it in that video because the contamination was out of hand and I had to chemically shock the coating to dislodge any impurities. This also helps if you see sheeting behavior instead of beading. 👍 Hopefully, this makes sense 🙏
Is nice for quick details or exterior details or basic interior details but dirty cars full detail no way that shit gonna last while I’m running compressor , two stage vaccine I would neeed two of this which will cost 6-7k
You can certainly pull off two full exterior and interior details with one battery if you are efficient. ☝️ not that it can't handle it, but if you are going to use particular equipment, such as heated equipment or +1800W machines, then you will certainly need another one. Just depends what you plug in and how long you use it.
For reliability reasons I can not answer that with full certainty. From my experience, using a single Delta Pro as the main machine I have tripped it at around 2900 W trying to run a compressor and vacuum at the same time. I would suggest reaching out to other detailers that have actually ran the machine with the battery. Sorry I could not help you champ 🙏
I would love to see your method versus Wilson auto detailings method with Superior Products Road Warrior. A concentrated industrial soap/degreaser that's like $15 a gallon. Also I believe the Medicare green APC is a higher foaming product.
Debatable, but as long as the method works and makes sense to you that is all that matters 😌 As for APC there are just so many out there I just stuck with the local ones 😂 Most of them will perform identically so pick one that you can work with
After using both of them, unfortunately, there is no significant difference between the two, shoot, I can arguably say they are the same blend. It smells the same, works the same, and dilutes the same. So to answer your question, there is no winner here as they both perform the same. 🤔
What makes you think that little pressere washer does'nt have a pump in it? If it didnt have a pump it wouldnt make pressere. LOL! Thats funny.........
Not "pump" as in the motor that is outputting the pressure, there is another part in the machine that draws the water from the source. Detailers just call it pump for the sake of simplicity.
Awesome idea. I usually try to grab some out of my gallon bucket when i make my rinseless wash bucket. This method works great if I am using distilled water for a glass cleaner solution!
What is good champ 👍 I would argue Technicians Choice or Shine Supply Punch it seems like a good alternative considering the price. 🤔 Of course this is subjective, but based off the question, this is the best answer I got 😎
The 360 mini is not ment to sprey upside down. The plus is when you are low on solution it will suck the solution untill the last drop. Or when you tilt it to sprey the engine bay and the level is low. I love the 360. Still tge lrice is hi and ther is cheaper ways to do your bottles 360. There is no mechanisam just a waithed ball on the end of the suction tube. Just like in the foam canons
This is a very fair argument and I 100% agree that it was not meant to be a 360 bottle, I think it is just very misleading for the audience. even to this day, I don't agree with the price as it is only a couple of cents cheaper compared to the 32oz bottle, depending on where you are located. 🤔
@@CardosCarDose yeah the price is on the expencive side i agree with that kne but if you work as detailer and make living from it it doesnt really ad up to much to your expences. I only use 2-3 bottles of this and the solution i dont use to often are in cheaper sprayers. Great video anyway. And for those who like to go the cheap way search for Gravity Ball for foam canon or someting like that... and use a silicon tube so it can bent and ther you go you can make your cheap spray bottle to sprey upside down 👌🤘
Have you encountered dusting issues? If yes, how did you avoid that? I want to use this for my clients, I love beadmaker so much but dusts doesn’t really affect me. However, I am afraid that some clients might not like in case they have some dusting issues.
All waxes have the potential to dust and if I can be completely transparent with you I think this is just an accusation made by the community to belittle BM if I am completely honest. Ive seen the "BM dusts too much" claims and really it is a poorly thought out statement because well... If you reeeeeeeally care about the dust, then maybe put the car in those inflatable dust proof car storage? 🤔 Realistically speaking, there is no way for you to control the dust and is completely dependent on how the customer parks or stores their car. From my testing there is no real way to see if it dusts or not because even if you applied a "low static" wax to the car it will catch dust at some point within a day because it is Outside 😂 I mean, duh? So to answer your question directly, it is a solid product for the price and it is an excellent standard wax for your customers 👍
@@CardosCarDose I agree with you! Dusts are inevitable even with anything that you apply. I’ve tried different products but the dusts that i receive is just the same especially if left outside the garage. However, with the gloss that beadmaker gives, the slickness, i feel like every customer will like it and that’s what matters. Thanks for the reply!
@@CardosCarDose a 400 Liter water tank ( roughly 100 Gallons ! ) for example holding pure water connected to a 7 Liter per minute kranzle pressure washer would take roughly 60 minutes minutes to empty.. Yes food for thought .. Question is what is the average amount of water used by a professional car detailer in california daily ?
@fensterputzernuernberg it's not necessarily the flow that matters, there are other tools and equipment that are used for detailers, not just solo pressure washing, which is what also drains the battery. Not to mention the steamer. 🪫 I have no saying for those that are doing power wash cleaning with a battery, as that is not my industry
@@CardosCarDose I am a professional cleaner in Germany .... My question is ( which i sent direct to Eco flow europe ) is if this would deliver enough power to power a kranzle 1600 Watt 7 Amp 230 Volt Pressure washer .... and if so for how long .. i use 2 of my my kranzle´s ( have 4 of them ) for rinsing purposes. I will let you know what they say if they return the email .......... PS by the way I am talking about the Eco Flow Delta max 2000 which is half the weight of this pro version. I am pretty sure this Pro version would operate the European 7 lpm kranzle which is 230 Volt and / amp... The only reason i am contemplating this is for rinsing not powerwashing .. Having this i can plug and play in seconds instead of trying to find a electrical socket.. It really could be a huge help to be frank for me. I already have a 36 Volt Professional lithium pressure washer ( also for rinsing ) But that has pressure guage just mode 1 and eco mode.. THis 36 V pressure washer is great but will only run for around 30 to 40 minutes on 2 x 36 V batteries. The kranzle is a much better machine..
@fensterputzernuernberg Ah, I see. Well, if I can be fully transparent with you, I do not recommend getting an EcoFlow product 😬 plot twist In case you have not followed me on Instagram, I have been very vocal about the company not offering battery cell replacement services. And considering the brand is a Chinese startup, I think it is very inconvenient for the user despite costing thousands of dollars. I am currently selling my Batteries and looking for a reputable company. Best advice, look into others that have specialized in the battery technology, Anker is my current interest. But if you reeeeally want one, well, with my ~1600W Kranzle it lasts about 2 hours ish 🤔
I have a question. After you first prime the Kranzle can you leave the water flowing through the machine even when it’s off. Or should you always close both valves and release all the pressure and water out of the machine before using it again?
You can leave it flowing with water, there is no problem there 😎 However, I would suggest just releasing the pressure on the gun. You don't need to empty it completely, just a quick press on your gun and it will release all the pressure ✅
@@CardosCarDose Thank you. I have one more question. I have The EvoFlow delta Pro and sometimes the Kranzle won’t turn on. I believe i have the same model Kranzle as you aswell. Any ideas?
I have a 1322TS. Make sure you are not using extension cords that are not compatible. Also to hit the reset switch on the outlet. Other than that, probably a service might be needed 🤔
this is a really old video and I will admit there is a couple of mistakes here 😂 The product itself does demand a lot of solution to have a "snow foam" experience. Now that I look back at it now, I do believe there are much more valuable options out there because while this product is cheap, you have to use a lot of solution to have a functional process 🧐
hey Cardo, its me again lol I forgot to ask you. How long did it took to detail that XL SUV with/without any coatings? I'm just curious b'cus it took me NEARLY 9.5 hours to do a full exterior/interior on a 2019 Ford F-150 FX4 🤪🤣🤣
for a vehicle of this size, using my Wash and Wax package that I offer (description is on my website) I would probably take about 3ish hours? This customer has a pretty clean car so I can skip some steps entirely, and that is on top of me not doing mobile work anymore so I do not take into account prep time because my garage shop is already prepped. I only wash, wax, and do a quick wipe down of the interior. That is it. RECORDING a video of the whole detail? Yikes, just add an additional 2.5hrs 😭It takes longer for me because of the kind of footage I am trying to capture, I want good angles and enough scenes to edit on post.
Question, so super clean reaches optimal ph in 4:1 dilution ratio so to make the math easy we should use PIR which would be 20%? So far example my 1000ml foam lance with pressure washer combined puts out roughly 560ounces to empty the lance. So 20% pir would be 3312 ML ooor am I doing this wrong? Meaning you can’t get 20% pir out of a snow lance or atleast mine?
There are a bit of inconsistencies in this video 😂 I am currently working on a version two of this video with an update on the information, including PIR. I actually pour APC straight into the foam cannon, only because I have a 1.9 gpm machine. The dilution ratio on output will probably be around 1:70-130, while the ratio is wild, it still has enough kick to remove the grime from the vehicle. My latest video on a nine month ceramic maintenance service demonstrates this process if you want to check it out 👍
So, how many people use distilled water for actually washing a car? I do contract work at water treatment plants in various cities. If you use tap water through a filter, you need to use the pH of the water as a starting point. Depending on the municipality, the location in the US, and the source of water, tap water can vary from 7.5 to 8.7 (I have between 8.5 to 8.7 in my town). This whole idea of a pH neutral soap is a joke, as your final pH depends on your water source.
This is a really old video and the information is a bit off so take it with a grain of salt 😂 Filtering the water helps for a spot free rinse, especially in direct sunlight. pH Neutral does help for maintenance services where the vehicle had recently been cleaned. I would argue between 6-8 is pretty neutral and is certainly safe. pH of water is only important if you really have some serious problems in the quality such as 400ppm+ and harsh minerals.
Nice tutorial; 2 cents…while wet use Meg’s ceramic wax, love the clay towel-use the same one! Prefer Meg’s extreme tire shine spray (I made a wheel cover) so no cleanup. Finally, Cerakote for black plastic-there in nothing like it!!
