I’m Samoan & I watched The netflix movie of Mabo & HONESTLY! I thought I was watching Fijians 😍 Until i realised half way through the movie that they were actually Torres straight Islanders. & I was soo amazed at the culture ! The way you guys sing .. Similar to my Partners culture , CookIslands ☺️ !!! and funny fact! I never knew what a Torres Straight Islander was. I moved to Australia Melbourne in 2011, I’m originally from NZ... & I always wondered what Torres Straight Islander was thought you people were Aboriginals lol. But very different! You people are much more like Our People.. Pacific Islanders. Loved this movie!!! & Your culture!! 😍😍
Lot's of love, me myself being a proud Torres Strait Islander. Also it's **Aboriginal peoples** not Aboriginals, but I'm sure you're not trying to be disrespectful :)
Wa ginar small wrong, agree with erubians 1, try keep the dance original, if danced right, its very heavy and powerful mer kebi le ra zogo. and as for ALAN NEWMAN fuck face, keep you fucking mouth shut if you got nothing good to say
@nkuleedube First time I hear your music!!! nice to hear Dube's DNA doing so well musically. Much respect from Puerto Rico (caribbean) and best wishes from Jahmusik - Dreads in my heart CD. Whenever you come to Puerto Rico, I will be in the concert. Peace!
that's not my taste. it's good that she doesn't follow exactly in Lucky's footsteps, but I really miss the reggae sound of Lucky Dube. Hope somebody who has talent will revive it one day.
@nkuleedube Saw her perfomed at Duluth reggae fest on july 16th. she put it down real proper but i was disappoint when she pick a white girl over me to dance with on stage. next lol
@wowuisful Lucky, like Bob Marley were great writer's. Their words were of wisdom and always full of rightgeousness.....profanity is something that show's lack of intellegence, just because you remember what you read in a book and what you hear in the classrooms do not mean you understand, understanding is what they gave me......just because these artist of Today make millions do not mean they will be remembered like a great person would like Lucky is....good on you mate, One Luv
Nkulee ! You r very talented. I love you. I believe you can do like your Dad and even more. This is my advice for you in your career. Please do not get away from the Root of your dad. I know you can do it. Please ,keep his positive spirit, profound lyrics in a real reggae music. Lucky always has message for us throughout his songs repertoire.Take the songs of your Dad, sing them just like him, or sing 'em with your own feelings. We want to hear the voice of Lucky through yours. Again I love U.
