I never believe in positive only dog trainning. Just look around your neighborhood you will always find some bad behaved dogs who are owned by positive only owner. Only use reward to train a dog is the biggest lie in dog trainning in my opinion😂
Our last two had conditions (cancer and heart disease) so we couldn’t get insurance for them, but the two we just got we have planned to get insurance. Just have to decide who to go with. This was really helpful. We ended up getting a CareCredit card to help with those two (ultra sounds and X-rays and sonograms, etc.). That has been helpful with interest free for a period so you don’t have to worry about that.
Is there anyway to help cool the dogs down? My dog just had his second seizure and it was exactly like that pitbulls seizure . Both times last led about 3 and half minutes. This time it didn’t seem like he recognized me when he stopped panting and got up.
its not about the dog being fearful of the owner, it's only about redirecting the dog attention. the fact you don't even mention that shows how deceitful you are.
Fascinating to hear all the chiropractic hate. I continue to be pain free since my first chiropractic visit 19 years ago, after my MD tried to prescribe opiate pain killers and refer me for surgery. Watch more of Dr Dougs videos. Dogs, horses and other animals come in debilitated and leave fully functional, often after one visit. I keep hearing this MD say, I can't see how, I don't know etc... Exactly, you don't know, but he does. Cant argue with results. There are bad practitioners of all types and I assure you MDs kill and debilitate expo entially more people then and chro ever did
Bullcrap, chiropractory us pretty much a joke except few back pain problems and I'm pretty sure those aren't perma solutions if the problem is big enough lol. And in animals, maybe big animals like horses, it can help a bit, but small animals doesn't need those things
This makes me so sad , my sister just gave me one of their puppies that are frenchies and he is so adorable and has such an energetic and cute little personality already at 3 months old. And i see tris video because i thought to research the breed just so i can be knowledgeable in what his l needs might be and behavior etc this really breaks my heart that he will face all of these things its beyond sad
Why not look at the facts and evidence in a positive perspective? Seriously. People are so focused on ripping other people down these days. So instead of your self-satisfied sarcasm and cutting and pasting footage to support your very poorly researched cherry picked information. The Dog Daddy has never claimed training- quite the opposite, he has shared his skill as self-learnt, self-trained, instinctive nature when he grew up in a very rural, very isolated part of Brazil. Moreover, the irony of the way ‘people like you’ love to only show cut footage that supports your agenda when on ALL of his videos you can read the dogs response to him(obviously NOT when addressing the negative behaviour but after) is calm, at peace, relaxed and respectful. It’s pretty straightforward: READ THE DOGS BODY BEHAVIOUR AFTER HE HAS BEEN TRAINING THEM. That sums it up. No one needs YOUR opinion or anyone’s explosive judgment. The dog’s behaviour speaks volumes. Without needing any words.
Hello, my 12 year old Yorkie has been pawing at his eyes for about a week (i initially thought he was having tooth pain and he already had a teeth cleaning on the schedule). I took him to the vet in case of a potential infection and was given antibiotics while awaiting his dental cleaning. but then i noticed one of his eyes started pointing outwards, the other one was normal. I took him to the vet immediately. They looked at his eyes, checked pressure, did some neurologic exercises to check his reflexes and all was normal. No nysagmus either. then they did an eye stain and turned out he has a scratch in that eye (it went untreated because i thought the eye rub was tooth pain.) My question is, can a scratch in an eye cause a symptom that is so closely related to a neurological disease? Sometimes he slightly tilts his head on that side if he’s needing to focus on something visually. He can also be a tad wobbly but he has pretty bad hip dysplasia so it’s the “norm” for him. He isn’t doing any pacing and no seizures, How far progressed does a brain tumor need to be by the time it causes eye misalignment? I just want to get ahead of any potential devastating issue. Thank you!
WOW, what a hit piece. You use Zak George as an example of a qualified trainer after you say Dog Daddy has no credentials. Really? Zak tells you he was trained by PetCo. Have you been to a PetCo class? Then you list allegations against Dog Daddy. BUT no charges...really...guilty until proven innocent? You mention science...the settled science as Zag G says it. I encourage people to look deeper into that of Skinner and his personal notes of the short comings of his experiments. Also you mention that hierarchy in the dog pack has been debunked....look again or just look at your own dog with other dogs, look at horses...really?? You say avoid trainers like Cesar M. who promote leadership. Leadership is what a dog is looking for. If he does not get it, he will become the leader with terrible results. Shelters full of unwanted dogs is the result of dogs feeling the need to protect themselves since their owners do not. Cookies and toys will not give the dog what they need which is leadership. But many of the positive only and even "balanced" trainers will promote Euthanasia if the dog does not "learn". It is not learning, it is an intervention with a fellow creature who looks to us on how to behave in the world with humans. Have you gone to a Dog Daddy seminar? Does his dogs look stressed? Answer:NO! He is a kind man working to save dogs and give their owners a good life with the dog they have. Talk to people who have worked with him. His patience and gentleness is amazing. Learn his life story. Man! I do not see what you have to gain by bashing a person who is sincerely trying to help dogs and their owners. The Dogs relationship with us humans is so very unique in the world, yet we are different species and WE HUMANS need to know how to communicate with dogs. It is not the other way around. I appreciate you seem to have gone to vet school which is a big commitment and respected but keep in your lane.
I think Dog Daddy is awesome! People go all woke over him because they think his methods are too harsh. I disagree. He knows how to get through to the dog in an effective way. He’s helping people. I don’t care if he doesn’t have credentials, I’ve heard his backstory and seen many videos and interviews. He’s excellent! People are jealous of his success.
People are so desperate to believe and they want their family pet to be well again. They will seek any treatment possible. It's a rough situation all the way around.
They just need to regulate it, the snout of any dog must be atleast 5cm long, or a certain percent of it's head length (the law in Netherlands), what you would see is instantly Frenchtons being mixed to create a longer snout and healthier structure, diluting the pool of Dishevelled 2, and you'd have halfway between Frenchie and long snout boston terrier as a result, which is the actual way the Frenchie was supposed to be.
I’d love to see your multitudes of videos successfully training (and saving) as many dogs as Dog Daddy! It’s always easy to criticize when you’re not doing the work and getting the same results. Dog Daddy is amazing. I’m sad I spent time watching THIS video instead of another one of his fascinating training videos. Haters gonna hate hate hate. 😡
You "approved" trainers just don't get it. I tried many different trainers for my severely aggressive rescue dog, YOU ALL FAILED!! Dog daddy's methods were kind vs euthanasia!!!! Just leave him alone, he's taking on dogs that you won't touch.

I just paid off my student debt🎉 .. Graduated in 2012.. I got serious over the past 12 months and just made my last payment... you summed up all of the feelings I have right now.... I'm glad to hear from someone who was in a similar situation.
First, let see the results of this guys training of aggressive dogs his peers wont touch... second, I've trained alot of dogs. The dog Daddy is legit. Adversive training has its place for those aggressive bitting dogs that will not break. These dogs either break or get destroyed.
BS , when you don't have any treats for example the dog won't even pay attention to you. You should educate your dog to respect you as a leader and not treat giver... Dogs teach themselves without treats or any of these new BS methods
Is this real? Why is there a loud cracking sound? Is this cracking sound a sound effect? I don’t quite believe in animal chiro. Show me the evidence of its efficacy
As you mentioned at 7:25, you have no idea what he is trying to do; you also are speculating about his knowledge and skill set. You can look him up on google, he has a good reputation and no lawsuits. He's been a chiropractor for many years. As a DVM or even MD, you can't just assume you know everything about the body when you know very little about chiropractic knowledge; it is another school of thought. You can find horror stories in any field including the conventional medical field. You'll likely find more complaints in the purely conventional medical field then you will in the world of chiropractors.
Damn, it’s like this is happening in every industry from housing to shopping, but vet care. Wow. What a niche way to squeeze yet more money out of the desperate and unsuspecting public 💔
