Here is where I wanted to bring you all … the rabbit hole I fell in earlier this year, Now I believe I am kind of a ¨DQ Dear¨ … DQ calls all his fans ¨My Dear or My Dears¨ … DQ = Dimash Qudaibergen I wanted to share … Dimash Qudaibergen was born in Kazakhstan on may 24th 1994. His father is a Kazakh culture official (and artist as well) and his mother (is or was) an opera singer at the Astana opera … They have 2 younger children who are also musically gifted. Dimash started to attend singing and music schooling at the age of 5yo.. He has a classical formation and was offered a residence at the opera … He refused the honorific job because he wanted to explore different genres and avenues. He started to attend singing competition locally … and you will see why he eventually got to be renown all over Asia … Especially after his first performance of many on the Chinese - Hunan TV singing competition ¨The Singer 2017¨ … I am communicating to you the link to the specific performances of Dimash on that 2017 show. Since I discovered that you are inclined to appreciate music … I am quite sure that if you do not know of this guy … your jaw will drop … On first round of the competition … Dimash gets to sing a composition created through a collaboration by French Michel Berger and Canadian Luc Plamondon … ¨S.O.S. d`un terrien en détresse¨ (you could translate to ¨S.O.S. of an earthling in distress¨) … part of a 1978 Rock Opera production named ¨Starmania¨ … There were several singers of the song through the decades … The first one was Daniel Balavoine followed by Bruno Pelletier in the 1990s and in 2005 Grégory Lemarchal got to take it for another ride which was found on You Tube platform by Dimash in the early 2010. Dimash did not speak French … but he did undertake the composition in it`s original version. And performed it at different singing competition through asia. This is the explanation of the crowd reaction to Dimash presentation on the 1st round of the live performance … I red that the following morning of the first round of the Chinese ¨The Singer 2017¨… Dimash`s fandom grew by the tens of millions. The link is of only the Dimash performances on that competition. You will see some of the other competitors who are in rooms backstage … But I did not provide you with the complete ¨The Singer 2017¨ video which probably last a few hours. I believe the competition lasted close to 10 days. Guys! I hope you will convincingly become part of the huge mass of human beings who are becoming Dimash Qudaibergenov`s fans who he calls ¨My Dears¨. Enjoy the results of lots of hard work, lots of talents mixed with good genetic. Full version with all the performances of DQ on ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IvcMni_7d8k.html SOS ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JEz1qGS0T1Q.html If you want … take a few minutes to have a better idea of the exceptional human being Dimash Qudaibergen is. When he hit The World`s Bests TV show with his talent … you can view all the épisodes of that TV show right before he did this … ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8Y7uaB1EDv0.html Did you know that Dimash was invited to take part in the U.S. competition World’s Best? He got to the final three before finding out the other two were children. In the Kazakh culture, adults don’t compete with children, they don’t want their dreams crushed. So he sang the prepared song and asked to say a few words through an interpreter. He thanked everyone for giving him the opportunity, but was withdrawing from the contest so the two little ones could go forward. The prize was one million dollars and Dimash had every chance of winning that but he has enormous integrity. He then had to stand there while judges like Ru Paul berated him, saying he knew what he was getting in to. Dimash stood there respectfully but stuck to his principles. It is all on you tube for anyone to see. And this was after he was assured there wouldn't be children competing before he even agreed to participate. They straight up lied to him. Forgot to tell you that Dimash was in New York`s Barclays Center on December 10th 2019. ... was there all by himself. ;o) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MKf3z66QiIk.html As I was saying ... Dimash Qudaibergen at New York`s Barclays Center on December 10th 2019 All By Himself ... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ApC3LuTDaGQ.html

Wrong again, their producer Simon Jakops is also Japanese, well half Japanese however he was born in Seattle, Washington. He and the group are signed through Avex Entertainment Company, a Japanese international label. (Big enough that even I, a EDM producer and Dj was signed with back in the 90's) They spent half their time training in Japan and the last few years in S. Korea. They chose to make use of the label and the producers connections in S. Korea. He is a former member of the K-Pop boy group DMTN. The reason they chose S. Korea was in it's simplest terms, convenience. You have to understand a few realities if the music industry in S. Korea and Japan in order for this to make sense. Japan has a much larger population than S. Korea so unlike Korea they do not require their Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B, Metal, EDM, Idol, or any other genre of music produced there to be marketed abroad (outside of their own nation) in order for the label and artists to prosper financially unlike S. Korea. Frankly most Japanese artists and labels could care less if the rest of the world took notice of their music. The Japanese artists have venue options from clubs to arena's and stadiums to massive music festivals, this simply isn't an option in S. Korea, personally I doubt the music industry in Korea would be self sustainable even if they were united in one nation. So S. Korea markets to the world, big budget video's, great choreographers, Video as well as publicity and production as well as sound engineers and producers as well as the infrastructure of an international market to showcase their talent on. A quick dive into the Japanese music scene right now will show how full of talent that country is. For examples try bands like Band Maid, Saiseiga, Hanabie, Nemophila, Lovebites, Trident, Aldious, Bridear just to name a few Female hard rock and metal bands, then there are hiphop and rap artists like Maddy Soma, Awich, Jin Dogg, Yentown, Satomi Shigemori, Cyber Rui, Hideyoshi, Badhop, Miyachi or R&B examples like Koda Kumi, Hikaru Utada, Mirei Touyama, Beni Arashiro, Alice Peralta. Then there is J-Pop with artists like LiSA, Uru, Rin, SennaRin, Shachi, Reol, Hikaru Utada, Baby Metal, Arashi, Perfume, Ayumi Hamasaki, Exile (another Avex group). Most people into international pop these gays are stuck on K-Pop as it is the most marketed outside their own country, they also confuse J-Pop with Idol-Pop as that is the S. Korean mold, this couldn't be more wrong. The genre's are so different in Japan as to be unrecognizable to each other musically. Japan does have an Idol-Pop genre that is completely separate from J-Pop with examples like AKB48, Yousei Teikoku (although she might be more Visual Kai), MADNight, My Criminal Lovers', Passcode, Piggs, XTeen, Casanova, Diablevoix, Lyric Holic, Pikarin Shiina and many more. I could go on for days, literally days. S. Korea has what one actual rock band gaining traction internationally? Rolling Quartz, which for the record, I love! My point is most of these review channels have tunnel vision, you all seem to think S. Korea invented Pop, the fact is long before anyone ever thought about a K-Pop there was J-Pop but if you never lived there you never knew about it. Much like now, if someone doesn't tell you about the amazing music coming out of Japan you will simply focus on K-Pop as if it is the only worthwhile thing on offer, it isn't and it would serve everyone well to take a good long look at what music is coming out of Japan. If all the banging tracks there are in anime openings and closings shouldn't have given you a clue by now. Ok, well that should help you better understand why you keep making mistakes regarding this group as well as giving you a great selection of music that will be new to you but many artists you are sure to love once you give them a listen. Good luck and please take off the K-Pop blinders, they are doing you a huge disservice...
