Wow thank you Denise for this extraordinary display. It's amazing what we can do in times of sorrow and trouble. So happy the underground railway was there when needed.
Congratulations on mounting such an important show during a pandemic Denise. This video is such a gem as well and I’ll be sure to share it. Many of images remind me of home and family. A quilt is a thing of comfort and belonging. And yet there are so many meanings and implications stitched into each quilt. For me it is a call to “check myself” and remember what is beautiful isn’t always born of beauty. What is elegant and simple can be a product of a terrible necessity. Thank-you for this reminder and your teachings.
Hi Cindy Bob “Folkboat” Munroe here Ann Walsh (Friend of Sheila and me) sent this link . Great video and great work. I’m hoping Sheila is in touch with you next time she is looking for a present for me. We look at your Hamilton Ontario boat pictures every day. Bob
Cindy... love these images. Abstract impressionistic... the combination is amazing. Love to see the evolution of your work. You are blessed with the gift of appreciating beauty and being able to share it with others in your own style. Muchas gracias!
