Just a fellow Canadian car enthusiast living in Northern British Columbia. This channel is mostly about my dad and I working on cars, but may also have other random things who knows. I hope you enjoy my content! 😃
@@colty__ yea the lift is a bit much but that’s the way we got it. I wouldn’t have put in the 3” body lift it has but it’s too much work to take it out now 😂
Great videos, been watching because I just got a 98 taco that needs love. Laughed when I noticed where you lived! Same place as me! 😂 small world. Keep up the great content. 👍
@@riccabral2688 well my dad has a body shop so he has a wholesale supplier for parts. You can actually buy them through my dad if you want it’d probably be a better deal than at Napa lol
I would have removed the four screws of the headlamp assembly. It is not a big job, it is actually easier than taping it. And it makes a much better job with the new color underneath the lamps.
Yea that would be ideal but around here those screws are known for being easy to snap off because of rust haha so we didn’t want to take the risk. Plus the chrome bezel goes around it anyway 👍
love your enthusiasm . watched with a smile on my face the whole time. Car looks great for being 50 years old. Mallet was an awesome bonus , and all those extra tools . Probably hadn't seen the light of day since Reagan was in office . Great video love it.
Does it have the 1ZZ or 2ZZ Engine? The 2ZZ has goid power in the upper Rpms (6800-8300) and i suppose the Automatic would saonit a fair bit. Good honest review of a decent daily driver. Thanks for the upload and hello from Australia 🦘
I like this style of video. One piece of advice is let your dad finish talking about what he knows best instead of you cutting him off or finishing his sentence.
Thanks! We actually discuss things we will talk about first so I understand what he’s talking about and I’ll mention something he forgets sometimes but I get what you’re saying. I don’t want to come off as a smart Aleck lol
@@tjvalleygarage I was just trying to give constructive criticism haha no harm intended! I do just about everything on my own vehicles besides body work. I will leave that to the auto body guys! Its a whole craft in it itself! It’s nice to see you working with your dad on projects
Loved the quick build video from start to finish! I know this is a budget build, and killer results! Now it's time to blow her up, and maybe add a couple speed parts 🤔
i feel like doing all that work just to put in a 2v 4.6 wasn't worth it, when you probably could have put in a 4v 4.6 from a terminator cobra with a similar amount of work. obviously that brings the price up though. cool video nonetheless
Yea true, it was mainly about the fact we had the donor car already for years and we’ve wanted to do something with the engine and drivetrain. I also did this for my high school final project so that was fun!
Hello there...i was just wondering where are you guys located?..I need a 2003 Tacoma Double Cab that needs a completer paint job...No body issues with it, or rust. Thanks ..i live in Florida by the way...God Bless
