Thank you for this video! It was wonderful to watch you and your family working together. Your smile is contagious and your skills are wonderful. I will be sure to visit sometime!
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for filming this. For close to 50 years I would drive this route from Merced to visit the park on a regular basis. Now due to my age and ever increasing restrictions for park visitors, I've only been able to viisit two or three times in the last five years. Until I'm able to make this trip again, your video helps brings back many memories. Thank you again..
My grandfather had bought three farms in my country. His kids sold them. I was really disappointed because people just don't understand the importance of legacy and generational wealth. I'll show my kids this video.
Hwy 140 indeed is an easier route than Hwy 120. It's also more scenic! It follows the Merced river which is really beautiful. Leaving Yosemite, definitely take 140 if your afraid of heights as the 120 route descends along cliff edges which will make you grip the steering wheel a lot tighter..
Why did I just discover this channel. It is full of love and emotion. I miss coming back to Tuscany. I hope all the people in this video remains healthy and happy.
Hi Joy - If you search for Fattoria Poggio Alloro online you can learn more about the farm on their website, including booking rooms or arranging lunch or dinner.
Awesome saves me the trouble of making one myself. Oh look, it is possible guardrails on the side of a Switchback Road. Unlike freaking 120. It's not hide that bothers me, it's precariousness that does
This has touch me so much. I would really like to visit Tuscany one day. It would be a dream come true. But although I'm in a wheelchair and don't know if this is possible. One can only dream. Please do share more of your videos on the farm. Most enjoyable from SA.🇿🇦 Lots of love Tilana
Beautifully presented segment of your life with your family showing what togetherness, mutual admiracion, respect and love can do to accomplish a common goal, happiness. You are wealthy, very rich and lucky to live a life that many of us, don't have. Congratulations. !!!
Hi Rick - You're welcome. I've driven a lot of mountain roads and this route seemed one of the safest. From my experience, definitely the easier of the two main routes into the park.
Thank you so much for sharing! I'm going in April and was worried about having to drive on winding, mountainous, steep roads. You've put my mind at ease! Awesome video!!!!
Hi Matt - Glad the video was helpful! Have a great trip. The drive on HWY 140 felt to me much safer and more enjoyable. It's one of the most scenic roads I've driven.
I took this trip last summer some days you are on the train more than 10-12 hours so when you arrive at the great destinations you read about most things are CLOSED Another thing they don't tell you until you are on the train 95% of the other trains you will see have the right of way so this can put you on a side track for significant amount of time...
Can you recommend a place to stay for an extended stay?❤ we have eaten at their restaurant in Florence several years ago and it was so delicious but I don’t think it’s still open.. Thanks so much!
