Hey man, great stuff! Just had one question about a prospective guitar purchase. On an earlier video you mentioned that you regretted getting the Ibanez aam380ce and that the acfs300ce was much better. Was just wondering why you thought that and also if you had any time for recommendations on any other guitar for percussive fingerstyle, I'd really appreciate it. The reason I'm looking at the aam380ce was for it's rosewood back and sides, spruce top and mahogany neck. Your comment left me a bit winded really. Thanks in advance for your time!
I had acfs300ce and sold it to buy the new Ibanez aam380ce, the reason that I like acfs more is because the fret was bigger which helped a lot for tapping, if yoh wanna play modern style like Marcin, Mike Dawes or Alexander Misko go for the acfs because the frets makes tapping much easier and louder, the other reason is that the acfs has a longer scale which makes the string harder/ more tension on standard tuning, the aam380ce has lower scale to the string on standard tuning are softer and looser which means the slap harmony techniques doesnt sound as good, 3rd reason the acfs series are cheaper but they come with a gigbag but if you want to play only strumming or simple fingerstyle then aam series is a good choice if you want to spend a little more get the ACFS580CE-OPS, this guitar is high quality build and comes with a hardshell case and its nly a few hundred bucks more expensive
@@Beyondthestring thank you so much for your super prompt response. I see what you mean - just looked into the ACFS580CE-OPS and am liking it ngl. Should probably get this until that time I save up enough dough to go for a handcrafted german badboy like Mr. Dawes haha.
It's obvious to anyone how much of an influence Super Mario was on Chopin. They really don't talk about that enough in the institutions of higher learning in music.
working for that next level flex of being able to say: "I can play Moonlight Sonatas 3rd movement on piano AND guitar." All jokes aside, absolutely beautiful transcript, thank you a million, so existed to be learning this!!
