MedStar Emergency Physicians (MEP) is a talented group of aligned physicians and PAs across MedStar Health's nine top-tier EDs in the mid-Atlantic region. The team includes more than 300 board-certified emergency clinicians who care for more than 440,000 patients annually.
MEP is home to the Georgetown/MedStar Washington Hospital Center EM Residency program and several fellowship programs including Sports Medicine, Emergency Ultrasound, Medical Simulation (SIM), Health Policy, and Telehealth.

In volume cycled ventilation, when you alter the i:e, the dependent variable is the inspiratory flow. You'll get very little gain by increasing inspiratory flow and decreasing your i time. E time is a function of your respiratory cycle length which is determined by your respiratory rate.
