Amazing video the Nightcore even ships with one of your Longhorn Tactical branded battery protective case which is awesome if you want to look into ordering an extra battery. Also Nightcore can run 18650s with an adapter or off two cr123s not sure if PD36R has that ability. Only nitpick with the MH12 PRO is I wish it had a 2m drop rating.
The main reason I avoided this light was the tungsten tips. I do not want to have it in my back breaking my other electronics, and I will likely never be in a situation where I'll ever need to break a window.
Can you measure the width with the handle included for 27 and 28, please? I think on the site are wrong dimensions. CL27R seem more narrow and a little taller then the CL28R! thank you!
Interesting question! Ill got mine 8n 1-2 days, ill tel you. The CL28R can, even when the base is not steel. Also, the handle can be tightened with a torx.
@@valuemastery it can be rotated about 30⁰, after that will fall. And to be clear, standing on a non-feromagnetic surface on the magnetic handle. If the surface is feromagnetic, ofc it can be rotated as much as you want. The CL28R with built-in 2x21700 can do that, the handle is in the middle section and the handle is 30mm wide. The CL27R handle is only 25mm wide. But i like the CL27R way more for the slimmer profile and swapable batterie. Edit: it works with 18650 with a Fenix adapter. Or a Nitecore adapter.
@@valuemastery i really must come back and say that you will be able to use this at any angle you want Pointing Upwards, by simple making a ^ shape, a reversed V with the handle and the bottom on the ground! if you want to use it in the woods, this is a trick i saw on RU-vid: stick a knife in a tree at the desired angle and use the blade as a feromagnetic base for any magnetic flashlight.
With nearly a perfect consumer rating, I recently acquired the BRMini600. My hyper-curiosity needed this EXACT comparison to the BS800. The compatibility and price point make my BRM600 perfect, and your review confirmed the rest. The goal for the 3.3' nose is concealment, so the mini remains my top choice. I only wish for a lower lumen option to extend the life and reduce backwash and universal magnet charges. I have 2 Olights, and they both require their own (non-compatible with any other lights) chargers. Still, 100% satisfied so far.
The warrior mini 3, the flashlight that shook the light world. A marvel of engineering with excellent throw, superior performance and the greatest flashlight of all time.
@longhorntactical I noticed this lantern has female threads for tripod mount. Are those threads metric or US (threads per inch) and what size? For example, metric would be M6 (diameter)x1.00(pitch) or US would be 1/4(diameter)-20(threads per inch). Thank you!
Theads worldwide are only 1/4 or3/8. Per ISO 1222:2010, the current tripod bolt thread standard for attaching the camera calls for a 1/4-20 UNC or 3/8-16 UNC thread. Most consumer cameras are fitted with 1/4-20 UNC threads. That was taken with google search.
Almost had me sold until I saw the evil Fenix green tint! So terrible looking. Come on Fenix! This green tint on Fenix lights is killing their bottom line! I so want to love this light but I just can’t. Smh 🤦🏼♂️ A strobe mode would be excellent for emergencies if need to get found.
This is a nice video but when you say "any other light you find on any other market" doesn't have the quality or durability or features of this light is very misinformed. Just stick to saying what is true!
Awesome descriptive video. I rock the S because.... no reason other than i could find holsters for my xmacro work out more easily. Thank you for this video. Be good. Be safe. I look forward to more videos from you. ☦️☦️☦️
I still have baton 2 and still going strong. I've used it for camping and hiking. I know run times aren't going to be great for baton 4 prenium but stay away from Turbo. Looks stylish and those indicators look so nice. Olight is upping there style now and it's perfect for camping and hiking!
This video seems like the reviewer was being paid to say these things or given this flashlight for free because there were no critical comments or subjective opinions. I doubt this thing is totally perfect, so to me that's not honest reviewing. If I just want to hear how awesome it is, I can go watch the Fenix company videos. Secondly, why does the beam look so yellow in some shots? I had read comments about this elsewhere but thought maybe they just got a one-off lemon. Can anyone else verify the tint color of the LED on this light? That's really the only thing that would keep me from buying one.
I had to mute this video I don’t ever leave comments like this but feel like I have a duty to tell ya, saying SIGURD over and over again drove me nuts You may be a big dumb fart
Mode change is straightforward. The low mode on this light is weaker than on the i3T EOS. This is even with the 10440. Disappointing. The high mode on the i3T EOS isn’t quite as bright at the v2 but not far off. I’d stick with the i3T. The v2 is not motivating me to upgrade.
No IT IS NOT THE BEST LANTERN FROM FENIX. I have one. I like it, but I cannot stand they branded their name right on the white portion of the lantern and try turning it on with one hand, not too easy as it you have turn the dial. Much harder than a push button. Again, I like it, but was disappointed. Bad design choices in my sense.
