Preciate the vid. I’m an older guy looking to get the OR soon. I’m not into to much modification, for what I do I just need a bit more aggressive tire. Otherwise completely stock will be fine for me.
Hello, can you add those lights if u changed your grille from SR5 to TRD Sport? Can you have it even though u have the Tacoma SR5? With the TRD Sport grille just like urs?
I like your Taco man very nice🔥, im considering getting a Third Gen i do like the Second Gens but the Lunar Rock and the Calvary Blue just look awesome and it make a great daily.
awesome Video... looking at new shocks for my GMC Duramax... Videos like this are very informative and much appreciative. Thank you. Great Job and well made video.
No, no no. Trucks are meant to be used yes. They are not meant to be abused. Nothing is meant to be abused except demolition, derby vehicles. Trucks can be used without being abused.
Dealing with this now on my 23 TRD Sport. Dealership is an hour away and they can only do the inspection mon-fri so I have to miss work and lose out on money. Also, they can’t loan me a truck if they have to keep mine to fix. The 21 TRD sport that I had didn’t have any recalls, it was built in Texas. Personally, I would prefer made in Japan .
I brought my Tacoma in for the recall and an oil change. I got my truck back one month later because Toyota did not have the parts to repair my truck. Parts on back order for an undetermined time. Toyota, don’t issue a recall, if you don’t have the parts to fix your vehicles.
Hey man, did you go with this wheels/tires setup on stock suspension? Meaning, no lift? I want to have a similar setup but without lifting my truck and/or running. Nothing against lifting, it's just not for me.
Guys, don't cut up your tocoma. If you want 285 go with a zero offset rim and 2inch front and 1 inch rear and your good to go ..it's that easy. And if you want to sell your tacoma . It's still in factory shape 🎉🎉🎉🎉....
I get decent success using a combination of mild heat from a heat gun or hair dryer then a light rub with a magic eraser microfibre sponge to de gloss the area where I applied heat. Needs experimenting to get the technique right. Don’t apply too much heat or the plastic will melt and become too glossy.
Im still on stock suspension and this is the same kit I keep coming back around to. So 2019 trd OR, I ended up pulling the sway bar off entirely for most of my time on the stock goodyear allterrains. The suspension never felt right, for instance bump steer that would translate all the way to the steering when say, one of your front tires goes over a small pothole in the road. After removing it, the side to side sway noticeably increased, though nothing unsafe when driving normally, but all those little undulations from the front tires making the steering whip skip this way and that, were mostly gone. I was running 30psi cold on the stock tires btw. So fast forward and I throw a set of Yoko Geolander MTs on (265/75/16) on the stock wheels and holy crap was it soft even driving back at 40psi where the shop had em. I generally run 28-30psi in everything else and never had any surprises, so i adjusted these down to 30psi for DD use. I ended up reinstalling the stock sway bar and right now, 30psi, it rides how it did on the old tires without the sway bar! Ive run Eibach springs, the pro-kit ones, in my old 240sx, at least one miata iirc, and even a Hyundai Sonata with nothing but great results. The Sonata is still a DD and still on the Eibachs 13 years later going strong 💪
