@@romdom9406 I think that's a good call! Letting him remain a spawn is the only way for him to become a better person and heal from his trauma. But I also think it's worth exploring different options to really experience as much of the game as possible, and see the different performances from the cast. They did such an amazing job with all the characters!

I am aiming to ascend him on the new playthrough I started today, mostly because it seems like they put so much more effort into that version of him than spawn, and I feel a bit cheated. Why wouldn't what is considered to be his happy ending get more content so you feel more "rewarded" for doing the right thing? It makes no sense to me 😭
@@VepVods yes and it's honestly such a crazy jump to.make from SA to AA. He goes from sweet to a total Dom, but I noticed there is a still a lot of dialogue that is supportive and understanding from AA, which is unexpected. I've done 5 plays so far, 2 have been AA. My current is a Durge evil run, the next I'm planning is a Good Durge, it's been so hard doing an evil run tho Omg, I had a hard time just being rude to NPCs in Skyrim xD this is a whole other level
@@vandalvandalism3341 I have tried really hard to avoid most spoilers, but I felt like doing an evil durge run would make the most sense if I were to ascend him. But so far I've really been struggling to make "bad" choices, so we'll see how far I'll get or if I'll cave and do a resist durge run instead 🥲 The amount of judgment I see from people towards those ascending him though, that is on a whole other level that I was not expecting.

At the end of the day, it's totally your choice, I don't think there exists a truly good or bad choice in that regard, there is a lot of nuance and it'd worth ascending just to see what it's like. Also, for anyone saying you should never do it, it makes you appreciate his sweet spawn self even more after an AA playthrough lol You'll get no judgement from me whatever choice you make 💚🦇

Grats! Makes me happy to see someone else do this for the 1st time, it's a true achievement for everyone. I wanted to ask, did you play a souls game before this? I noticed in the genichero fight that you tended to dodge to avoid his thrust attacks rather than doing mikiri counter. As someone who started with Sekiro, I'm very aggressive, and realized I think this kind of constant aggression made elden ring easier for me cause of breaking posture being so strong in the game. Anyways, just a curiosity. If you do play the game again, as I chose to instantly do myself, please do... I'm not gonna spoil it, but basically there is another version of a boss you fought in this original playthrough, this boss can be found in the estate memory, but IIRC the process is kinda complicated (been almost 3 years) but please do look it up if you want to, it makes this boss entirely new almost with this moveset, and is the nuttiest fight of the game, even harder than isshin I'd say.

Yeah, I had played Elden Ring before this, but the reason why I didn't use mikiri counter was because I felt like it wasn't consistent enough for me to risk it with the shorter weapons, so I only used it against the polearms/spears. I didn't like using it at all though, and I was very annoyed by people backseating me and telling me to use it, to the point of me blocking the word from my Twitch chat. I do not like doing what people tell me to do, so much to the point that I will go to great lengths to prove that I can manage without it, just to shut people up 😂
looking at those butthurt comments who wants you to suffer to let them enjoy made me laugh so hard in the last part when you said " why its so easy with mimic" xD dunno why but i pity them really. Heres a list what they want you to do: 1- Take a week off from work 2- go level 1 unarmed and fully naked to defeat Malenia and better with equipping the following tailsmans (RADAGON'S SORESEAL + MARIKA'S SORESEAL + DAEDICAR'S WOE) and be like the kids asking why they take so much damage! 3- cry and shout and scream (kids really love things i assure you) 4- spend 12 hours trying to defeat her non stop 5- if you didin't defeat her as they like , repeat from point 1 and hey you MUST NOT have fun on your own, you MUST please the kids for whatever they like you to do, otherwise you suck and kys and hahah she cant play....... these peoples are so pathetic and easy to get triggered over people's enjoyments.
Hard to say, but I am very salty about the godskin duo, because that was the point where I started using summons. But I have to admit the toughest was probably the Elden Beast for me 😂
Hahaha yeah duo boss in elden ring were not as optimized as other fromsoft games xD. Yeah at later stages bosses scaled so much ,it felt like it wasnt worth trying to spend hours on the boss.Thanks miyazaki for summons
