Welcome to my moto channel. This is my personal channel about motorcycles and other motor driven vehicles. I'm an average rider enjoying riding to places and sight seeing and I want to share this with the world whether it be on or off the pavement.
For complete strength the swing-arm needs boxing. Below in the link, there is an example. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HuIcL2hBZgc.html
The swing-arms are made from 6061 aluminum. Only 7075 aluminum is stronger, however, 7075 is difficult to repair. 6061 is strong but the Chinese don't use box tubing to create their swing-arms. If it were Japanese made, for sure it would be boxed tubed. Talaria has the strongest swing-arm between the two, however, there's a weight penalty associated with strength.
Nice ride report. I tried a MT-03 at the Yamaha booth. It was the only bike I could get that I could fit comfortably....thought I would ride more bikes but it didn't work out....maybe next year...
Thanks for the review, especially the follow-up segment - really helpful! I’m considering these since I need a bit wider feel in the toe area. Ride safe! ✊🏼
THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE YOU MAY BE ABLE TO REVIVE THAT BATTERY... THE BMS WILL REFUSE TO TURN ON IF ANY OF THE 20 GROUPS OF SERIES CELLS IS BELOW 3 VOLTS - 2.5 VOLTS. OR IF ANY OF THE GROUPS IS ALOT LOWER THEN THE REST. 1. OPEN THE BATTERY 2. USE A MULTIMETER AND CHECK THE VOLTAGE OF EACH OF THE 20 GROUPS OF CELLS 3. HOPEFULLY YOU WILL FIND THAT ONE OR SO OF THE GROUPS WILL HAVE A LOWER VOLTAGE THEN THE REST. 4. IF THE GROUPS THAT ARE LOW HAVE AT LEAST 1V OR HIGHER, USE A POWER SUPPLY OR R/C BATTERY CHARGER AND CHARGE THE LOW GROUPS UPTO THE SAME VOLTAGE AS THE REST OF THE OTHER GROUPS. (JUST SET THE POWER SUPPLY TO SAME VOLTAGE AS THE OTHER GROUPS) ***IF ANY OF THE GROUPS ARE LOWER THEN 1V DONT BOTHER TRYING TO CHARGE IT*** 5. THE BMS WILL REACTIVATE WHEN IT SEE'S THAT ALL OF THE 20 GROUPS HAVE THE SAME VOLTAGE. (SOME BMS'S STILL WONT ACTIVATE UNTIL YOU CONNECT A CHARGER FOR A FEW SECONDS) *FYI- A FULLY CHARGED LITHIUM ION CELL IS 4.2V MAXIMUM*
For everyone's information he did not make it look more difficult than it is. This pad design needs to be discontinued. It's the dumbest design giving you zero tolerance to slide the second pad in. I think these can damage pistons by people scraping the prongs forcing it by the pistons. They can take the four singles with the pin going across just save yourselves the headaches and only buy those style of pads. These things are a nightmare
Yeah I'm not a big fan of these you have to get the pad in at just the right angle and there's not much room to get the second pad in. There is another pad that uses 4 individual pads and a pin/bolt that holds the pads in but I haven't tried it yet.
@@hadesomegamoto7639 yeah those are what I use. First time replacing my Mt5 pads I went with this style though since that's what was in there. Just way less hassle and I think better having the 4 individuals
You made a mistake - before pressing the terminals of the press, it was necessary to remove the varnish and scrape the varnish off the copper wire, otherwise the current would flow weakly through the varnish coating along the veins and the wires would heat up greatly
