Hello guys! Welcome to this channel BIM Kintsugi, please SUBSCRIBE to this channel for future updates and practical learning related to Bim, Revit, Dynamo, .etc.
If you are facing any trouble in your daily work like typical tasks, let me know in the comment. I will create suitable solutions using DYNAMO!
unfortunately i can't find the "views.setviewtemplate" node which is created at 10:08 ... but thanks for the tutorial ;) i tried with "view applyviewtemplate" which results in "null" error later on... Something else i realized is that this works fine for elevations in the first story. when i go to second/third floor all markers are created in the first floor...
Hi! Thanks for the great Work! I faced a problem in this process, I have noticed, that I don't have "Element Reference" in my Dynamo. Is there any replacement for that? or how could I bring it?
Very impressive. It would be very helpful if you explained what each node does when you're placing it in the graph. Also, why didn't the dimensions offset by 1000mm for the horizontal grids?
But the wall finishes that gets placed are using room boundaey as centreline. how to place the wall finishes so that wall interior side is aligned to room boundary
Thanks for your Python Script. I looked for another solution. I want to divide the wall by point level or edge . Can you create another tutorial. Thanks
Great work!! Can you think of a way to exclude those door locations in the polycurve based on which placement of family is done. If that is achieved I think this scrip is game changer.
Hello Sir, when i run the new modified code with replaced python script to 2024 version, the error occur : (Iteration over non-sequence ['File "<string>', line 199, In <moduel> ']). May i know anyway to resolve this is issue?
Please check you're using CPython or IronPython that might be the problem. Link for Dnamo Script: bimkintsugi.blogspot.com/2024/01/how-to-split-structural-columns-by.html or send me your dynamo script to this instagram account INSTAGRAM: instagram.com/bim_modeler?igsh=ZnAyazIzb2gwdTU3
@@ArmanoPapageorge You can find the Dynamo file in this link try using this: bimkintsugi.blogspot.com/2023/03/how-to-split-wall-by-levels-in-revit.html
hello, this script is not working for me showing error [Python evaluator.evaluator operation failed syntaxError : ('invalid syntax', ('<string>', 122, 33 ' expect Expection, ex: ')) please help]
This is great! I am trying to figure out how to modify the script to align the walls together, so that if one wall was to move, the whole wall stack moves. Basically have it utilize the Revit align tool within the wall stack. Any thoughts on this?
@@bimkintsugi thank you for responding. I mean the wall location. It is on the wall centerline nit the finishing so the wall and the finishing is collapsed. How should I setup ao that the finish is on the wall face? Thank you so much!
nice tutorial thanks, i have a question about offset button fristly how to convert it into meters from mellimeters, secondly when i wrote a value it's splitting one level but i need to make the value of of offset is 0 to split then when i gave it a vlaue it's splitting but there are small columns between levels how to avoid this issues
Can we upgrade the script to be split wall by selected level only? I have a project with Arch and Structural levels and I cant delete the Arch levels, however I need to split the walls each Structural levels only.
@@bimkintsugi I have the same problem.I use Revit 2024 I tried to install IRONPYTHON 2.7 and also 3.0 but unfortunatly the python script give me always an empty list.
