Saw it last night, what a magnificent production, and suits the Hampstead Theatre stage perfectly. Closes in a few days so get your tickets while you can!
Goodness! I am learning French at age 59 due to Poirot!!! David Suchet's portrayal of Poirot is so convincing that sometimes I forget it's a program. I LOVE this series, because it is so WELL DONE, engaging, and is free from the filth that seems to infiltrate today's programs. I also adore listening to David's bible readings. THANK YOU, for inspiring me, and for entertaining me and my 93 year old mother! I adore your portrayal of Poirot and his various mannerisms have allowed me to accept similar traits I find in myself. Merci un millon de fois ! xxx
Why is there a soundtrack over the audience dialogue? You can not hear a word, most irritating, sort it out please, I have tickets for Monday/Tuesday, ta!
And here, I thought the Firesign Theater's The Life in a Day take on TV was surreal. Your life is not in my hands Night of the Listening Dead, has the walkers in its thrall Staring deeply in their palms, Finding nothing there at all
Damn. I wish I could afford to travel and for those tickets. This is one of those plays I'd like to see, because of Jonathan Hyde. Well, I guess I can't help but enjoy the pictures and reviews of this play on the internet.
Went to this the other night on my trip to London! It was a last minute ticket purchase and did not regret! Great story, all actors performed amazingly and it had me hooked from the beginning, Would throughly recommend going if you can!
My husband and I have watched all 70 episodes of Agatha Christie's Poirot- we're now on our 4th wonderful viewing! Mr. Suchet, you are the BEST Hercules Poirot! Thank you for giving us and the world these special experiences. We live in Oklahoma, however, how spectacular it would be if we could meet you someday in England. Well, last monday, me and my daughter had a really great time with David Suchet! And who knows what David thought looking many times at that guy sitting at very first row of the main stage with a curious italian tie! Thank you David, God bless you!
