Civilization Ex is dedicated to creating a visual library exploring the history and lore of popular fantasy and science-fiction universes, like A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones), Lord of the Rings, the Witcher, Wheel of Time, Star Trek, Star Wars, the MCU and more! Ever wonder how the Targaryens came into power? Or where Gandalf's magic came from? Go to Civilization Ex and find out!
Basically if that military unit had kept true to their original creed and oath taken as US Soldiers they would have been the good guys, but in the end the BoS became nothing but a crazy religious technocracy who's idea of "saving the world and rebuilding it" is stealing and hording tech with no end goal. Basically the Brotherhood of Steal became the biggest villains in Fallout but each game tends to blow them and give them plot armor. No different than the batman writers of tht 2000s to 2020s
Cannot believe the dance began because Aemond could not control Vhagar (The belief that the Targaryens control their dragons is an illusion). The only way to bond with a dragon is by treating them like normal humans similar to how Nettles did with her dragon.
Would you consider doing a video on the noteworthy casualties of the Dance of The Dragons, specifically the lords, knights, etc., beyond the members of House Targaryen, who died remarkable deaths? A few come to mind, like Jon Roxton, Rodrick Dustin, Jason Lannister, Longleaf the Lionslayer, Forrest Frey, etc.
@@foulplayer7812 That one is already on the list as someone recommended it awhile ago. But since it's not directly related to HotD it will also be made after the season ends.
I think they both would have died of old age by 300 AC. Cannibal was already very old when the war ended in 131AC and Sheepstealer was only a bit younger. Anything's possible, but it's doubtful they're alive.

I've seen your Dance of the Dragons videos, as well as the GOT History and Lore animated videos on the subject, so I know well enough what happens without a spoiler warning. Lol
"Valonqar" has to refer to Jaime. There was no reason for Martin to let us know the birth order between Jaime and Cersei but we specifically are told that Cersei came first with Jaime holding on to her ankle. Making him her little brother and Tyrion nothing more than a red herring.
There's a universe project thats extremely niche but if done right, you could introduce this new world to new audiences. It's called Orion's Arm, it's about the future of humanity and the lore is insane!
I’m a fallout player that supports the brotherhood of steel through the Fallout timeline. I started to be a supporter & a Fan of the Brotherhood faction after I noticed the California brotherhood has T-51 Power armor & Fallout 1’s game cover by interplay. Through the fallout timeline in the games & their story requirements with them change over the years with new equipment & it’s a struggle doing so.
I like how you updated your Dance of the Dragons Civil War Map to reflect that the Crownlands were as divided as the Reach between the Blacks and Greens faction
Was Vualt Tec and other companies known to be using vaults to experiment their ideal society something already known in Fallout or did the show kinda confirm it?
That was new info. What we knew from the games was that the Enclave worked with Vault Tec to conduct experiments. We didn't know about the other corporations.
@@CivilizationEx hearing that and seeing Mr. House really kinda gives the Fallout Universe some direction. After kinda resetting every few decades following Fallout 2, (sans New Vegas) its nice to see some progression happening in the universe again
I put dates wherever I could, but unfortunately there isn't much specific info in the games. So if there is no date it's because there is no date given in the lore. But even so I still I tried to put it all in chronological order.
This is so beautifully done. Thanks. I have just started the games and have been travelling putting the politics and history together. This puts everything in perspective too much to a point that even gwent makes sense now 😅 Thanks
