Most people who use bait casters actually use them on the wrong hand. For a long time, bait casters were only available in right hand retrieve, and because of that, everyone learned on that. Fast forward to today, the majority of people still use right hand, as a result, it’s what’s more readily available in turn making most people switch hands after a cast
