I had started the medicine two months ago and just now had allergic reaction to it had to quit taking medication before starting last bottle not sure if fully cured will let you know
Hi Donna im happy for you.....i just started mine medicine yesterday 400 mg Epclusa.... i have hepc and tumor and legions in side my liver wish me the best in takeing this medication
Thank you Donna I am experienced a lot of side effects. Headaches heartburn hair loss achy body tiredness. Almost a third of the way done. God bless you
It took 2 years for my insurance to cover it now that it has I tried my 1st dose and went to work, then 6 hours later really bad side effects happened and I had to go to the ER. I think I had an allergic reaction to the epclusa, I also had caffeine with it and I didn’t know I wasn’t supposed to mix the two.
Hello Donna..hope all is well! I'm watching this post, even though it is old. But I just started my epclusa treatment and I'm on day 2. Your videos have help reduce some of my stress about symptoms, so thank you for posting these. God bless!🙏
Hope you're totally healed now. Epsclusia caused me itchy sores past 6 freakin years. The hep c wasn't even making me sick, had it 30 yrs, the doctor talked me into it saying about liver cancer in future. I reckon God already healed me since I'd been sober for years, anyway, live and learn God loves us so very much
Thank you for sharing your progress and God BLESS YOU! I'll be starting my treatment tomorrow. But I'm alone down in Arkansas for the summer so I'm concerned about the possibility of an allergic reaction while lonely.
Donna's husband here: Donna shows no indication of illness and has appeared to be cured since having taken this drug. It's not really new anymore and lots of people have been cured. Don't be scared.
I am doing wonderful! I just had my annual check-up and I'm still considered "cured". I would highly recommend anyone to do the treatment. I'm not sure where you're from but it's been around the US for several years now and has really good results. God's blessings for your mum and for you.
@@donnajohnson8950 we live in Germany but because the drug was first allowed in 2017 we still don't know in the long run what can it do. She has since 10 days fever and very heavy headaches and her white blood cells are low. Did you have this too? She doesn't have covid thanks God. I am very worried. I found some scary articles where I read that a lot of people died from it. Don't want to scary anyone just I am really deeply worried.
Thank you for doing this video. My husband is about to start Epclusa and your video helped me understand what our next 12 weeks might be like. I appreciate the information and the heart that you have to do this for others. You helped us. Thank you.
I took mine at night. Mostly because I seem to forget to take pills in the morning and I didn't ever want to miss a dose. Good luck to you. I'm so glad I did it. I go for testing again next month (every July) to make sure I'm still in remission.
That's great news! My Dr said I have some scaring. So hopefully this treatment will help make what's good-stronger and prevent more damage, god willing! Keep me posted on how everything goes for you!
Day 8 here. No side effects unless the reduced brain fog counts😊. ❤ Seems that I felt alot worse daily before I started. I have woken happy more than I have since childhood. 65 yrs old. Odd dreams. But have always had odd dreams. And apparently been carrying HCV for decades. Maybe my dreams will evolve into "not odd" once it is completely gone?? I wish that!
Commenting for my wife Donna, YES! She is cured! Unfortunately, she is getting ready to have her thyroid taken out bc of indeterminate lumps they can not call cancerous or benign until they are removed. Have no clue as to whether this has any relation to taking epclusa. My guess is no but I'm not a doctor 🙂
@@lukeburny2796 hang in there! It's not easy but the drug works, it really does! I hope you have somebody to give you encouragement through out the process. You'll need this.
Any depression during or after the treatment? I'm starting it soon and that's all I'm worried about. I used to get migraines I'm not worried about headaches and nausea isn't a big deal but I'm scared of the depression.
I had genome 1 for yrs my body naturally kicked it off twice, I got re infected again with genome 3, I started to notice losing muscle /weight. That's when I was put on Eclupsa. I was scared I noticed lately I'm holding on to my weight.
Thanks for sharing your story. I hope didn't have many more horrible headaches during your treatment. I'm starting next week and I'm a little worried about side effects. But I am hoping to get through it alright because I'm tired of feeling tired all the time. And I know without treatment I won't get better. Thanks again for posting.
