I just paid for some high price ceramic XPEL prime XR plus tint. I got 5% all around and 35% on my windshield. With the sun beaming here in LA, you can see everything through the windshield and I can see perfectly well out the windshield even at night. Im really debating on doing 20% on the windshield 😭
Bro I had 35 percent and switch to 20 percent. And still with the sun beaming you can see inside. Idk if the tint is bad quality. Or just not 20 percent.
I got a 2021 AT4 with 5 over the 20 on the windows but the place wouldn’t do less than 35 percent . Great review , Im doin 20 tomorrow somewhere else . Its also great for safety if someone jumped out on you because they cant see what your doin
I have 5% on my car and you can still see in a tiny bit during the day when it’s really bright out. Can you see inside at all with the extra layer of 20 during a bright day and is driving at night noticeably worse?
I did 15% all around sides and back rear window. And 30% front windshield on my red Subaru WRX. Looks really good. The tint makes it pop more with red car. Do you think 30% front windshield is still dark enough.
Ok say I’m pulling out my driveway which I have no street lights, if someone is walking on the sidewalk would I be able to see them in pitch black with the windows up? I don’t like being able to see through the windshield with normal 5 like you said but also I don’t wanna hit nobody. What do you think?
I have an '09 Suburban with the 5.3. I put a flow master 40 series on it with a 2.5" inlet and outlet and did a resonator delete with a different tailpipe, but I can't remember the specs for the tailpipe. I was going to replace the 3rd cat with a straight pipe, but after watching this, gutting it sounds more reasonable due to the different diameter of the pipes. I've heard people say that doing this won't make a difference in sound. I have a single setup into a slashed tip. Will it get a lot louder?

You would have done yourself a favor if you covered any bare metal areas with Fluid Film or Surface Shield before installing. Spray lots of Fluid Film through the 3 plugged holes on the inside of the wheel well.
20 is the limit for the windshield I personally have 50 and it’s not bad I could see 35 probably being good n 20 as far as anyone should go. Anything darker n it’s just a matter of time before some idoit walking around in all black no light or reflective clothing jay walks in front of you in the street not to mention them suicidal deer always lurking on the road. Having 50 for a good while now I can say if I ever have to replace it id go 35 i dont have the best eyesight at night so I personally wouldn’t do 20 . If u are still young and ur eyes are good enjoy it while you can time n age is no joke after year 30 it’s slowly all down hill
Looks sick!!! Now, the real question is if it rubs or hits on full lock and full flex or would it need a slightly bigger gap for it to be really an offroader on 35s.
I tried to put one of them things on my freaking truck but i did a bull crap job putting it on because all I had was some crappy screws and gorilla glue. Well I guess that wasn’t freaking good enough cuz the piece of crap flew off on the interstate and went through the windshield of a Honda pilot and caused a pretty bad wreck. When I saw that sucker swerve in to the opposite lane and all that crashing started happening I freaking slammed the gas and got my fat A outta there. I heard some truckers on the cb say that was the worst wreck they ever saw, it caused a traffic jam that was 9 miles long. It ain’t my fault that the gorilla glue didn’t even work. They say it holds like a gorilla, they even put a monkey on the bottle. Ok?? I think a gorilla could at least hold on to a stupid piece of steel instead of dropping it and making it cause a catastrophe. Later my stupid grandma told me I shoulda just naught the correct mounting hardware. Easy to say that when all you do is watch tv and be old as piss. Maybe if that glue wasn’t a ripoff? Maybe they shouldn’t have but a monkey on the bottle to make me think it’s just as strong a monkey.
