It's a different type of bananas that u eat in jakarta. The autentic bananas that we use here in Manado it's called "Pisang Goroho" which is more big, tasty and not to sweet when it's fried and of course with the sambal roa as a dipping sauce. in Manado the level of spiceness is more different bcs our chili it's small but deathly. But we always love to put Rica (chili/sambal) a lot into our food. I can say as Manadonese that for us Rica (chili) it's more matter than Gold. The people in Java might think that eating fried banana with sambal is weird. But for the people who live in East Indonesia especially in Sulawesi (Celebes) it's a common thing and we love it.
I keep failing at making focaccia bread and its like the easiest thing in the world to make, except I’m on my fifth fail. And this happens EVERY time I try to make bread that doesnt have premade mix. I have NO idea what I’m doing wrong and its so frustrating. One day I will learn. I might be through like ten more fails who knows. But I will. Just like you will learn when you work at it. All it takes is practice and dedication, you can do this! You’re capable you’re intelligent and you can cook!
