I have some questions regarding Novec-1230 and Novec-649, they're just one same chemical, but the first is used for fire protection and has purity of ~99%, the second has purity ~99.9% and is used as heat-transferring fluid. I've seen some China-made system using Novec-1230 for submersion cooling, as it's 3 times cheaper and more readily available compared to the 649. Do you guys have any idea about using 1230, could we also submerge the PSU - power supply unit into it!? Many thanks!
Would that Technology also work in RF amplifiers for radio? For HF, UHF, VHF? Would the liquid have any effects on open relays connections or closed connections? Was curious to know because if I had an amplifier and wanted to build an acrylic cabinet for it and use that liquid….. if it would work. Thoughts?

Where can you find information on kanthal wire? I am having a bit of a hard time... How do you determine the number of coils, the thickness of wire, the inner diameter of the coils, the voltage required, and amperage required?
