Very expensive Island though! St Helier not like it used be,central market was full of veg and flowers now hardly any left.Nightlife virtually all gone ,shame as Jersey in 70’s 80’s was a great place!
Please spell our capital correctly - St Helier And at the end of the video you’re in St Aubin, which is in a different parish! Thank you for visiting though 😊

Well done on getting footage of St Helier's Parade Gardens without all the crack heads & lamps terrorising people. Honestly, the Jersey of today is a pale, pale comparison of what it once was...... The place is dying on it's feet. The hospitality sector is in terminal decline, the nightime economy is breathing its last, tourism is almost a spectator sport........ But the wealthy are doing ok, so it's not all bad. Oh, special shout-out to the wonderful waterfront development, gateway to the Island, they nailed it, has that 'trading estate in Slough' aesthetic.
Nice video 👏 Beautiful landscape!! Some time i cycling in the area...its so nice!! Actually I did myself a few videos about on my channel... SUBSCRIBED 🎉
Thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm pretty certain that you don't get shut in at all. From what I remember, you could just leave if you felt your were struggling with it. The tour guides seemed lovely, so just let me know and I'm sure they'll help you out...
Gloucester Cathedral is gorgeous. However, Gloucester is bleak, & needs a variety of public trees, & sessional flowers in containers/hanging baskets to help elevate the spirit of Gloucester, particularly given were known worldwide as a garden loving nation.🌳🌼🦋💚
You accomplished so much in two days! Do you feel like you missed anything that you would have liked to see/do? Was there anything you would have liked more time for (or less time)? When were you in York - it doesn't look crowded at all, and except for the Ghost Merchants, there were no lines that I saw!
Thank you for your questions. Mmm, to be honest, I think I managed to do everything I wanted to see. I will say the best things I did, were those that were free. I wouldn’t do the Jorvik Viking museum again, and personally wouldn’t recommend it considering how much it costs to go in. Most people I was with going around at that time only stayed in about 30mins, and apart from the ride, there isn’t much else to see. I probably wouldn’t do the boat ride again, as I could see all the sights from just walking along the river. I went during February and like you see, wasn’t to busy. Hope that helps.
Just came across your channel, and I enjoyed watching, so I am liking and subscribing. You did a nice job showing York, and I liked that you weren't too chatty, but still added in a bit of information. I'll be watching your other videos, as I am planning a trip to England that will include both York and London. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
Hi. Thank you so much for your feedback, I’m happy to hear you are enjoying my channel, and this video on York. I hope you enjoy your trip over here, there is so much to see and do for sure.
So cool! I love to see how people live and travel in different countries. My husband and I just moved to Japan, so I'm also just in the middle of a home transition myself and I love to see how life in other parts of the world is like ☺
London is definitely a cool place to visit if you ever have time. How is Japan? It's at the very top of my list to visit, hopefully one day I shall get there!
@@travelswithjoe I was in London like 13 years ago? It's been a while haha! But I really like the vibe of the city 😊 Japan is great, I really love it! Now it's a little too hot and humid here, but you kind of get used to it ☺ The food is amazing of course! And quality in general is very high regarding most things, that's impressive too 😊 I hope you can visit soon! Then I recommend visiting in spring or autumn though 😄
