The "water ruins game meat" is not true, at all. I've seen guys soak their game meat in an ice bath for a week. It's changed the color some, but the meat was fine, as was the taste.
Glad I found this comment accidentally forgot to drain yesterday so the meat was drowning and is very tender and has lost a lot of color on the outer 1/4 inch
Love ya videos, get in touch with Samong Outdoors, he's from the Washinton area and maybe have a couple interviews with him and maybe even some hunting trips with him, that might draw more viewers and subscribers to you guys. I'm pretty sure that most of Samong's viewer's are from california. Love to see that happen
Love ya videos! I've been following you guys on RU-vid for about 5 years now, since I started hunting. I would love to see you guys hook up with Samong Outdoors for a hunting trip. Good luck this year
6 miles is a drop in the bucket. Just gotta find them. some area that looks good just dont hold that many animal there. Either that or maybe someone had already come through there and spook the deer there.
I don’t know what this cat is talkin about ,,,, from taking out over 50 animals for myself I can tell you ,,,you are not going to keep your cooler dry of water …. If you can do this figure out a plan for ice stops all the way back home to renew your ice … I live where I hunt pretty much so my animals are at the processing location in less than 8 hours … that’s one ice stop …. Bleed out the water and renew your ice …. I had 3 yeti’s at one time but I am not stuck on brand names hell I use my giant igloo from Wally World much more than the yeti’s only cause it fits way more and I am NOT going to PAY 14 HUNDRED BUCKS FOR A DAM COOLER …. EVEN THE YETI THAT I DO HAVE ,,,ILL PROBABLY GIVE EM AWAY TO ONE OF THE BROS SOONER OR LATER… POINT BEING ITS NOT A BIG THING TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR GAME ,,, JUST PLAN YOUR ICE STOPS…. ALSO ALWAYS BLEACH WASH YOUR COOLERS AFTER EACH USE AND AIR THEM OUT … ONCE I HAD TO COME BACK FROM UTHA LIKE I THINK IT WAS 12 hour drive to New Mexico THAT WAS HELL GOING THREW FLAGSTAFF DURING THE RUT ,,,MUST HAVE SEEN 5 ELK GET HIT IN A 200 MILE STRETCH,,EVEN KIND RAMPED THE TUNDRA OVER A MESS THAT WE COULD NOT AVOID…. THAT WAS NUTS … THE FLAGSTAFF AREA HAS MORE ELK THAN IVE EVER SEEN AND I USUALLY HUNT COLORADO NEW MEXICO LINE FOR ALL MY CRITTERS BUT ARIZONA HAS ELK UP ITS HUUA HUUA … NEVER HUNTED THAT AREA BUT I KNOW WHAT I SAW GOING THREW THERE AT NIGHT DURING THE RUT ,,,THEY WHERE JUST ALL OVER THE INTERSTATE,,,LIKE SMACK SMACK SMACK ,,, RAMP OVER …. THAT WAS ABOUT 8 YEARS AGO MAYBE ITS CHANGED …BUT YES MY PEPS COMMON SENSE MEAT CARE AND ICE ICE ICE ,,,PLAN FOR THAT ICE …. YOU DEFINITELY DO NOT NEED TO GO SPEND 1500 HUNDRED ON A YETI TUNDRA 160 ,,300 OR 350 WHATEVER IT IS THE BIG ONE ,,,MYSELF ,,,YETI IS WAY WAY OVER RATED … IVE GOT YETI AND MY BIG IGLOO STAYS AND KEEPS ICE A LITTLE BIT LONGER ,,,CAUSE OF THE SIZE I THINK … NO MY BROS ITS NOT A BIG THING PUT ICE AND PUT ICE ,,, ANY HUNTER WITH A GED KNOWS THAT ….
