Alot of bus drivers (not all) are very rude and have no manners. one time I was coming home from a stresssful day at work and I thought I had change for the bus, when i got on, I was surprised to see I was about $1.50 short and the ass hole bus driver kicked me off after verbally assaulting me and taking the only change I had. I had to walk to the nearest gas station and get change.
Zubair C hello Zubair. I understand your frustration and as a former retired bus driver that worked for the city for 30 years I can tell you that we are not all rude and have an understanding. However what you may have not realized is that that particular drive has 10 to 20 people who short changed him. I have seen guys that say how's it going only to put $10 cents in and start running to the back of the bus. How is this fair to all the people that have paid full price to get on the bus. Is this fair for the people that paid full price?
yea I understand alot of factors go into how a person might act or react to a paritcular situation. I have alot of respect for bus drivers in general as they are human beings working to make an honest living and I understand they probably have to put up with alot of BS.
They do. That "yield" sign on the back of the bus doesn't say "please" on it for a reason, that being It's not a request, it's a legal requirement. When driving a large vehicle in Toronto,, there's only 2 ways to make a lane change.... Force / intimidate your way into the other lane, or wait for an asshole on their cell phone to not realize the light turned green, leaving a small gap in the otherwise 999 bumper to bumper assholes who completely ignore your signal light before 1 driver with courtesy comes along!
Requirement to yield to bus from bus bay142.1 (1) Every driver of a vehicle in the lane of traffic adjacent to a bus bay shall yield the right of way to the driver of a bus who has indicated his or her intention, as prescribed, to re-enter that lane from the bus bay. 1994, c. 27, s. 138 (12).
That bus driver is not a jerk but a dangerous tosser who in an ideal world should loose his job. I'd send his bosses at TTC this on dvd with a complaint
