My favorite genre to react to is rap and I prefer lyrical and storytelling rappers like J Cole, Kendrick, Joyner, etc. but will listen to anything pretty much. I also branch out to other types of music and tons of artists. 🎵

I've said it before and will most likely say it again, Will Smith, as the Fresh Prince is one of the greatest rappers of all time. His storytelling is on the level of Slick Rick, if not better. His catalog is absolutely worth going back and checking out.

the thing is...Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff were not completely unknown. They were quite known in the hip hop community but this was long BEFORE hip hop was part of the Pop machine. This was before rap and hip hop was even used to sell burgers. Think about that. There was nothing in the machine that supported hip hop in those days. The MTVs and Much Musics were initially reluctant to support this music and culture. So hip hop was not a global phenomenon ...yet. The first time I heard a hip hop beat looped in a commercial on main stream tv channels I knew it was over. and over in a bad way not a good way.

He is such a genius. I wish that reacting to him would go viral because I've tried a few reactors, getting them to react to him, and he just doesn't get the numbers. Totally underrated.
Valhalla Calling is his lowest subharmonics - drops to B0 three times in held in low times. In a growl he did an A0 in Enemy. Cesar was wearing real chain mail - he had to lay down to rest between takes. Omar is the archer, Eli (rhymes with jelly) is the mage, Geoff is the bass, Layne the beatboxer and half owner of Pattycake Studios that you see part of here. The other half owner is Tony Wakim who had been the VoicePlay baritone but wanted to get into productions. Most of Geoff's and VoicePlay's videos are done at Pattycake. Geoff and Layne each take turns doing the full production, arrangements, etc. Eli has done a couple (Eleanor Rigby and recently Creep). They will sub out extreme makeup usually Rick Underwood (see In the Hall of the Mountain King), and the pre-mix is done by whoever is responsible for that video and final audio is done by Ed Boyer who covers the best acapella groups. When you figure that each video is a project controlled by Geoff or Layne, it's a lot, arrangements, staging, costuming, standard makeup, lighting has been taken over by Eli as is computer backgrounds, green screens, etc. I am impressed as hell that they get it done. They continue to do this so that they are the ones in control of the creativity and not a record management company. Sound wasn't too loud. I have turn my computer up all the way to get decent sound.
This is the second reaction of yours i've watched and you really do look dumb, look up the song before the reaction, don't listen to it but look up what it is about and why they did it etc, do that for all the songs so you dont look and sound like a numpty!
They're all too short... these guys can just about anything...they do a cover of Boyz2Men End of the Road and typically their covers are truly upgrades. Check out In The Blood, Blue Ain't Your Color, and How Great Thou Art. However, anything you choose can't be anything but great. Will sub and be along for your journey down the Home Free rabbit hole.
You're thinking of a digerido, but he's actually simulating a mouth harp and Chance does that (he's on the porch at the end). This is the first of their videos I saw and I had to watch it several times before I was reasonably sure he didn't actually have a harmonica stashed. He really gets going on his "nomonica" in Ain't Goin' Down Til the Sun Comes Up (it's on Facebook, don't think RU-vid has it) and it's terrific!
