wish we had a format called "Super Stock" As everything about the bike is stock 100%. No changes allowed. Pure rider skill and manufacturing engineering. None of these bikes from motoGP or WSBk can really be purchased and is not even close to representing why people are able to buy.
WSBK is far more fun to watch bc the rider still matters like Toprak riding the underpowered yamaha last year where motogp is becoming a lot like F1 where whos got the better bike is far more likely to win.. = boring as hell to watch
Needs to learn the meaning of respect..just that..that's what makes a rider a legend..not thinking he's more than his companions and kicking them of the way..
A lot of people are comparing motogp to f1, but every time they fail to mention that wsbk has a car racing counterpart too, the grand touring races like gt3 where, like in wsbk, the machines are based on mass-produced vechiles and modified for race with a lot of flexibility in the powerplant unlike f1.
And then you have the Northwest 200, Cookstown 100, Macau GP and of course the peerless Isle of Man TT.... None of which will have a MotoGP rider racing🤔🤔🤔 ( nor a WSBK rider either tho i may be mistaken?
No ones commented on it yet so i'll be that guy... Its pronounced " ah crop o vich " not "akra po vick" (we all say or have said it wrong, myself included for years, unless you're Slovenian or just know)
Euro 5 regulations are making it hard for these manufacturers to produce litre class bikes like the R1, GSXR 1000 etc which are race replicas of their MotoGP bikes, but if they are not manufacturing and selling these bikes in Europe and America there is no point of spending millions to fund on their MotoGP teams. Even aero in MotoGP has complicated things and increased the teams spendings, European brands have been taking help from their F1 engineers to develop their aero, but Japanese brands have been lagging behind.
Suzuki got out just in time, right before European bikes took over. If Suzuki was in MotoGP right now, they would be bringing up the rear with Honda and Yamaha
