Looks like the controller has been changed on this as well, ExpressEvans looked to have installed it originally then possibly Stannah (by the sticker) may done the button and controller swap.

I suspect it's been switched off permanently following the upgrading of the other lift. There are no plans (as far as I am aware) to bring the top floor restaurant back into use. I suspect only having one lift serving the bridge level will be more than sufficient going forward. It's a shame but at least it's still there even though it's no longer in use.
I will revisit soon, just haven’t got the time right now. Also my mum had to go somewhere using the same motorway about a month ago and stopped here again, apparently it was still broken :(
