@@MadDog5.56 Yuuppp!!! Sorry to hear. These Ecodiesels are notorious for failing. I’ve seen a dozen of them with similar issues. They’re terribly designed.
Yeah, like I'm going to keep a spare transmission in my car. By that logic, I should keep a spare engine in the trunk too. Or have a whole other car in the bed of my truck.
And only 15 states require safety inspections. These vehicles and people who do shit like this can kill someone. I seen a YT video where a dude had his front end held together with tie downs and rope. 😲
It's okay, the government doesn't protect you anyway in the first place, it's better that you don't have to keep paying them to fyck you over every 2 years, it's not about safety it never was.

This is why I love Florida. No snow and no salted roads to rot your truck to the ground. My 90 F250 and 97 F350 are still rust free. And with a 7.3 in both theyll last longer than i will.
I'm jealous of anyone with a 7.3 people just don't understand, a old man at work says he'll sell me his 95 F450 with the turboed 7.3 in it when he retires in a year or so, my first day on the job for the company was spent replacing the rear axel on it which gave out from being overloaded to hell. We just use it as a oil pump truck thing has less than 200k on it. I pray to God I do get the chance to buy that truck as beat and tore up as it is because the engine still runs exactly as you'd imagine it does and I want so badly to pass that thing down to my non existant kids one day just hoping that they understand the diamond dad left them.
