Hi R.D .I want to pursue my masters in pharmaceutical sciences from UK.Both Surrey and kingston are offering a extra placement year . Which one would be the better option according to you ? Please reply , as i am coming this January
Hi Pooja, I would personally recommend Surrey. You will have a much better experience studying at Surrey, especially since it is a campus university. It is highly ranked, so its teaching is fantastic. If you have any further questions, please do dm me on Instagram r_dahmed
In the Uk ,myself(Martin Sadler) ,my associate Mike Fogg and Rob Williams we make sure jews don't get a job in Stellantis.Don't even get me started about immigrants...And nobody can't do anything about it..
Great video! As to why the university started dropping post-2016, there was a big problem with the university oversubscribing students that didn't meet their offer to the extent that even the local Odeon cinema theatre had to start hosting our lectures! I was lucky to be a part of that 2016 cohort; I didn't quite meet my offer but went on to study 4 great years there and I'd love to go back!!
Hye beta how r u love Ur video very informative can u tell me two things (1) can master student live in hostel (2) how's organisational psychology department is
@@amithajacob9112 Yes, there are many care homes especially near the university. I have friends who work at care homes during the weekends and evenings, so there are opportunities to find positions.
Hi Priya, so there are a few part time jobs you can apply for especially in the retail sector like River Island, Next, Zara. There are also supermarkets and food restaurants like Tesco, Sainsburys, McDonalds, KFC you can apply to. Alot of students tend to work in these places. The university also offers work on campus. In terms of accommodation, it depends on which band you choose. Please find more information on this link www.surrey.ac.uk/accommodation
Hi Sehdev, I am not too sure on international students and there is limited data on the website but I presume it can take anywhere between 2-8 weeks. It just depends on how many people have applied and been interviewed.
hey! very informative video I have found! So, I have received an offer letter from surrey university for MSc in data science . I am a bit confused to decide if you have any information and links please share!
@@RDAhmed ohh ❤.. I thought you from Bangladesh and I'm also.. I really love your speech so much and it is really helpful ❤ tomorrow is my a presentation about Juvenile Delinquency. can you please tell me how I start it ? what should I tell them ??
@@zaibkhan1208 Employability is very good. 96% of students will find a job after gradaution which is pretty high. For placements, it is ranked 1st in the UK. What sort of careers are you looking at?
@@RDAhmed, I have applied for MSc in information security with placement year Which is of 2 year but course will be finished in 1st year only the remaining year will be internship year if I get some good internship.
It is actually pretty good. We have a fairly decent sized Islamic Society who hold regular events. For example, during Ramadhan, efforts are put into providing Muslims with food at iftar and organising prayers. The Muslim community is slowly increasing year by year in Surrey. Rest assured, everyone here is amiable and welcoming regardless of demographic characteristics
Hi Riya, unfortunately I do not know much about this course however, the department is one of the best in the world with rankings in the top 10 across the world, so I presume it is very good. Do some extra research online and perhaps contact tutors at the university if you have any questions relating to the course.
To my understanding, I think that for most courses they do not conduct interviews. However, you will need to check on the website for your course to confirm. You could get your offer in a couple of days or it could take weeks, it just depends how long they take to review the applications
Thank you for your comment! Unfortunately, I do not know much about the department or any student studying related courses. Perhaps look at reviews on the internet or the student room. It would also be good to email any questions you may have to course directors or staff from the department.
Sir, I have completed MA criminology in Indian university. I am 40 years old. Is it possible to study another MA criminology In Surrey University. Pls provide me fess details.
Hello! It is possible but overseas fees would amount to £18,000. Personally, I wouldnt advise that you do another Masters in Criminology if you have already got a masters. This is because the content will probably the same so I doubt it will add any new knowledge. Perhaps look at other courses? Or even consider whether another masters is even worth it. You can email me to discuss further on R.Dahmed@hotmail.com
Hey 👋, bro I received admit in MSc management at surrey. But I'm confused about accepting the offer or not. So, can u please tell me more about surrey business school and it's management course. Thanks
Hey bro, again, I do not know much about Surrey Business School, however, I have some freinds who do. If you email me, I can get you in touch with one of them.
this video was very helpful! may I ask whether the university does not directly support students for placement years even if we have applied for a course along with the placement year through UCAS?
They do help you with your applications, CV and cover letters, and may provide any advice. However, you have to go out and apply yourself, but this is the case with every other university.
Hey buddy thank you so much for the video it cleared a lot of doubt and luckily I got ur video coz u are a student of Criminology and even I accepted the Same 😂 tqsm for the video bud.....
Walekumsalam, Usually you would need a social science degree, however since criminology is a theoretical subject, you might be able to get through provided that you get good grades. But I will ask the programme director anyway and get back to you
Although there are similarities, there are many differences especially module wise - Criminology on its own focuses on more forensic science/criminal law + practical based modules mixed with theoretical modules whereas criminology and sociology is purely theoretical. I was more into forensic science stuff so that's why I enjoyed it thoroughly! And thank you!
Would love to go to Rubix again! I lived straight across it in Stag Hill Court. I remember Dido blasting from the club, the nostalgia! Your video made me miss Surrey...
Ah that's cool! I use to live near it as well last year. It has died down due to coronavirus, but I remember last year it use to be everyone's favourite place to spend their evenings and nights!
Thank you for your message. I have just replied to your email! Please do bare with me while I get you in touch with a student in computer science department who you can ask questions directly to.
