They peaked as far as song quality in 2018...leveled out in 2019...and Aya was their quality decline. Their popularity increased with their Queendom win and the rise of kpop as a whole. They need to get with a real team of global producers. Mamamoo is only the 2nd team that I follow, but Kill This Love, Coachella, and world tour dominated 2019 going into 2020. Global domination vs Korean...big difference.

you can’t deny that even though the incessant questions abt wgm definitely bothered all of them for sure, something about it set byul off in particular. i haven’t kept up with any kpop stuff for a while and likely won’t again but at this point it’s clear that there’s a good chance they honestly are together or something and the fandom seems to have (mostly) subtly accepted that
Update from a future moo.. our girls our doing great they are now conquering the world.. they have done with asian tour and up for america.. they never stop conquering different genre and they establish solo careers.. Individually and as a group they won awards and also made successful comeback as a group, solo and as a duo.. Speaking of duo mmm+ has comeback with ggbb and chico malo..
It's amazing what can happen in such a short time, Mamamoo climbing with the help of Moos to the top, I am writing this while they are on their world tour, something we thought would never happen and now look at them, the fear now is that it's not long to go from the end of their second contract, here's hoping that the world tour is not their goodbye tour.
