Excuse me sir but you have a burnt out lightbulb in your Kirby vacuum cleaner Take the old bulb, with you. Second repair is to take two flat Head screwdrivers one away from you and one against you once you get That off flip the bag around and tighten everything up and your Good to go.
@@yankeesfan6288 that has nothing to do with letting a vacuum run for ten minutes.carpet or no carpet.i would suggest you invest in a small rug to put down on your bare floor.problem solved.
That's a good way to destroy the fan, metal or otherwise, ESPECIALLY a metal fan on a machine. The polymer that the Kirby company uses actually has some give to it.
cereal & pasta is fairly soft compared to stuff you might vacuum up from a car or something in your house.i believe they are made better than you think.thanks for the thought anyway.
almost.i sent a kirby to a lady to do videos with & she videoed her sucking up big aquarium rocks.needless to say after about five or six of them the fan broke during the recording.sad it was to hear it but she took it to a shop & fixed it.
Yeah same with me. I actually had a paper route when I was a kid and I knew what kind of vacuum a lot of the houses had on my route. Back in the day when almost everybody had some kind of bagged vacuum. Not like today everybody has the plastic vacs.
Dwayne, when you powered up your Classic III, I can hear not only worn-out bearings but also it appears you fixed the speed switch to make the machine run higher with the hose attached as originally intended. Hence, I think the Classic III wins this round!
Pretty cool Tradition... but I think the speed switch is out of whack. Also, the plastic bag guard that secures the bag to the upper lip of the metal Emtor is missing.
first time for using that one.it's just so nice with the multi-colored bag ! even though that's not a model 888 it has a removable floor nozzle.i like it a lot ! it's got moves.(lol)
Rose Rose....I couldnt agree more ! I would love to be able to purchase an old Royal like that one here in the UK. But they dont exist over here. I love ALL soft bagged uprights...the feel of a fully inflated dust bag, which is warm and smelly, drives me crazy. If I could own ANY soft bag upright, it would be a Royal model,. as their bags dont inflate to a uniform shape if you know what I mean. The bag just inflates up so full and firm. If I could find a vid of a WOMAN hoovering with one like this, it would be heaven ! Derek UK
i cut the long shaft off of the fan so i could vacuum bigger stuff.i can't use the floor nozzle any longer for that one but it's for videos only now.i also found out that the fan & shaft are two seperate pieces & had to figure out to to keep them from turning seperately.i did this by using a pin punch to hold both pieces by expanding the edges.works very well.
i had three g-friends that were very fond of them.i also sent several kirbys to ladies on C4S over the years to make some kirby clips.some were x-rated & some were g-rated.
