@@bluesnparadise ha, sometimes I want to get better at recording and editing just so I can make silly versions of songs with bad or odd vocals. But yea man, this was good work. Sounded like the original, or maybe like a really good demo version. Playing was spot on.
Try Mr. Tabs or Tyler Rosen both have tablature, can pick out what works best for you from those, I might try breaking down this solo on a future video
hi man. amazing slash tone, it's just perfect !!! can you tell me if you put the ge-7 in front or in the fx loop of the jub and your amp settings please? many thanks for your answer ;)
Thanks bro! I’ve got the ge7 eq in front of the amp. Amp settings input gain 6 lead master 10 output master 6 treble bass presence 5 mids 10 Give that a got go!
Sweet man, that was great 🎸👍🏼🔥🤘🏼. I appreciate and respect the amount of work it takes to learn such a long solo. Definitely a satisfying feeling to accomplish that. I need to do something like that but I have been more into improvising in this style, and lately a bit of Hendrix too. Maybe if you do some lessons on these solos I’ll take the time to learn them! Or more likely I’ll cherry picks the licks and phrases I like and add them to my repertoire 🎸🤓
That was sick man! Definitely have the slash tone dialed in, killer solo (definitely one the more challenging ones), and apparently a new guitar as well? Well done 🎸🔥🤘🏼
@@bluesnparadise nice! Yea I actually sold two of my standards (one was a slash November burst) over the last month on reverb and got a custom shop LP Murphy lab. First time doing the custom shop thing. It’s a bit excessive but I knew I’d have to do it once in my life. Luckily selling two of my LPs paid for most of it. I got 20% off the retail and no tax! But definitely the most expensive guitar I have ever had. I really like the thin lacquer finish. It feels and looks like a vintage instrument. It’s “light aged” so it’s not all beaten up, just cracks in the lacquer and not super shiny like all my standards. I dig the Brazilian burst. That’s a custom shop right ?
@@slashtrio Yeah I saw you were selling the Slash one, I should of pulled the trigger on that one myself! A custom shop murphy lab sounds like a dream, good on ya! This one is a les paul signature series which had the etune setup so got it for a good price!
@@bluesnparadise yea man, sounds / looks like you got a nice one. I had kind of gone nuts over the last 4 years and ended up with 4 standards, well technically 3 standards and the slash model (which was basically a 50s standard with nice top and different pickups). At some point I realized I wasn’t playing 2 of them nearly as much and figured I could sell some and try and whole CS thing. It’s not really mind blowing to be honest but it’s cool. I still have two other standards, a wildwood select in unburst (which plays excellent) and a CME special standard that I put the new slash pups in. They are both excellent. Thai new guitar is like a piece of art man. It’s just a beauty. It’s in dirty lemon and a great book matched flame top, with wider flames, not over the top. The hardware is all ages to everything looks old. It looks like an old 59 or something. The neck is slight thinner than the 50s standard but thicker than the 60s. Has more vintage PAF lower output pickups (alnico 3s) “unpotted”. Definitely has a kind of twang / honk thing going on on the bridge. My instinct is typically to put a higher output in the bridge but I’m gonna give these a try for a while. My slash November sold in 6 days reverb and the other in just a couple! I need to buy no new gear for a long time……
@@slashtrio I've had 5 standards/traditionals over the last few years owning 1 or 2 at one time, they all seem to be different with their own characteristics! Dirty lemon CS must look impressive!
Thanks, jubilee settings input gain 5 lead master 10 output master 7 treble 5 middle 8 or 9 bass 7 presence 7 also boss ge7 was in the effects loop. Cutting 400kh bumping up 800kh and 1.6k cutting 3.2k and pushing 6.4K.
