We, four friends planned a trip to Megamalai. After seeing reviews on RU-vid, we stayed in Ponmayil home stay in Megamalai. We booked the room through a friend near Megamalai, and traveled for nearly 450 kilometers, but unfortunately we were not treated properly by the hotel staffs. During the reservation they said that the required food will be provided by cooking at the property. But, when we visited in person, they said that we have to order the food from their hotel, down the hill. We also ordered for the food. When asked to bring food for us at meal time, They said that the food for everyone in the hostel has packed together so, come down and eat. When you asked to take the food you need and give the rest, they also flatly refused. The staffs there were very rude. We were at a loss as we did not know of proper vehicle facilities or other good eateries. Friends who sought peace in the lap of nature were left with irritation and anger. Unable to stay there for more than that, we had to vacate the room and return after three hours. The stress and expense of four thousand rupees spoiled our pleasant trip for the most part. A friend told me not to even post this. He opined that the income of the hostel will be affected. But I am writing this post with the intention that the tourists who are looking for peace should not be harmed by the staff of the hostel. Those who intend to stay at Ponmayil home stay at Megamalai are kindly requested to confirm their facilities once and for all.
நான்கள் நண்பர்கள் நான்கு பேர் மேகமலைக்கு சுற்றுலா செல்ல எண்ணினோம். யூடியூபில் விமர்சனங்களை பார்த்து, மேகமலையில் உள்ள பொன்மயில் விடுதியில் மாடி அறையில் தங்கினோம். நண்பர் ஒருவர் மூலம் முன்பதிவு செய்து ஏறத்தாழ 450 கிலோமீட்டர் பயணம் செய்து வந்த விருந்தினர்களை அந்த விடுதியின் பணியாளர்கள் முறையாக நடத்தவில்லை. தேவையான உணவுகள் சமைத்து தரப்படும் என முன்பதிவின் போது கூறியவர்கள் நேரில் சென்ற போது மலைக்கு கீழே இருந்துதான் உணவு ஆர்டர் செய்து பெற வேண்டும் என்று கூறினார்கள். அப்படியே ஆர்டர் செய்தோம். உணவு உண்ணும் நேரம் எங்களுக்கான உணவைத் தாருங்கள் என்று கேட்ட போது விடுதியில் உள்ள அனைவருக்கும் ஒன்றாக பார்செல் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. எனவே கீழே வந்து பகிர்ந்து சாப்பிடுங்கள் என்றனர். நீங்கள் உங்களுக்குத் தேவையான உணவை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு மீதமுள்ள உணவைத் தாருங்கள் என்று கேட்ட போது அதையும் கண்டிப்புடன் மறுத்துவிட்டனர். சரியான வாகன வசதிகளோ, வேறு நல்ல உணவு விடுதிகளோ அறியாத நிலையில் பரிதவிக்க வேண்டிய நிலை எங்களுக்கு ஏற்பட்டது. இயற்கையின் மடியில் நிம்மதியைத் தேடி சென்ற நண்பர்களுக்கு எரிச்சலும் கோபமும் தான் மிஞ்சியது. அதற்கு மேல் அங்கு தங்க முடியாமல் மூன்று மணி நேரத்திலேயே அறையை காலி செய்து திரும்ப வேண்டிய நிலை ஏற்பட்டது. மனஉளைச்சலும் நான்காயிரம் ரூபாய் பணச் செலவும் எங்களது இனிய பயணத்தை பெரும்பகுதி கெடுத்துவிட்டது. இந்தப்பதிவைக்கூட போட வேண்டாம் என்று ஒரு நண்பர் கூறினார். விடுதியின் வருமானம் பாதிக்கப்படும் என்று கருத்து தெரிவித்தார். ஆனால் விடுதியின் பணியாளர்களால் நிம்மதி தேடி வரும் சுற்றுலா பயணிகள் பாதிக்கப்படக்கூடாது என்ற எண்ணத்தில்தான் இந்தப்பதிவை இடுகிறேன். பொன்மயில் விடுதியில் தங்க எண்ணியுள்ள நபர்கள் ஒருமுறைக்கு பலமுறை தங்களது வசதிகளை உறுதி செய்து கொள்ளுமாறு அன்புடன் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்.
hi 1st thanks for your valuable feedback , 2nd I'm extremely sorry for the worst experience... 🙏🙏🙏 intha resort open pannum pothu nanga visit pannom almost 2 years back appo nalla treat pannaga.. ahna ippo management issue ha nu thiereyala!!!!! antha reesort ku nan call panne pesuren.... unga feedback ha comment la pin pannuren maybe ithukku appram porangavaluku kandeppa use agum.... thank you..

We recently visited munar and Mr.Suresh was with us.. he helped and guided a lot to make our trip fantastic. Excellent days. And thanks for all the help and steps you took. Especially we were three girls and found paka safe with the crew
