Thanks for a great video...I especially appreciated the part numbers. Could you please show the number for the 24mm fill bolt. The previous owner rounded the head of this bolt and I sure do want to replace it. You also mentioned Ebay as a source but my search there has not been successful...Thank you very much and keep the videos coming.
How are the diamonds keeping up with time? Found lots of reviews and pictures of the fine side coming loose after a few uses and leaving only shiny steel. Now I am insecure about pass or give it a try 😅
My GMC Sierra has 44k on it and I did the diffs for the first time and it looked like new fluid still. What are you doing to that truck. Toyota isn’t what it used to be. Sad.
Best regards from Italy, Florence and I, for my Suzuki Jimny 4x4 truck with a 1.3 lt gasoline m13a engine from 2001, I have 4 all-terrain Hankook dynapro atf RF 10 m+s tires in size 205-70-15 and I have a train of retreaded mud tires from the Italian brand ziarelli modello mud Power ziarelli MT 205-70-15 m+s !! (I am undecided between the two models of Kumho tires, the Kumho at 51 models and the other model the Kumho at 52, always in size 205-70-15!)
This is the outcome of not listening to know it all on RU-vid that say use amsoil change your oil every 45,000 miles 😂🤦🏽♂️ KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BROTHER!
Thanks for the detailed video. I am struggling mightily to find the part number for the fill plug and o-ring. Searched on Amazon, e-Bay, and the general web. Can't believe how hard this is to identify. Do you know?
@sgoldste02 not sure what parts you need. You only need drain plug crush washer, and fill plug o-ring. Plus fluids. Everything is listed in the comments or in the video
@@goldentrucker7921 I want to replace all of the gaskets. I found the transmission drain plug gasket easily. But the fill bolt (the 24mm bolt showing "WS" in this video) also has an o-ring, and I can't find that part. I'm also guessing that fill level bolt has a gasket, but I can't find that part either.
This is an excellent saw, durability and power are excellent! This coming from a 30 year Husqvarna operator, in my experience, the X Series is as good as anything out there. Run 95 Octane Ethenol Free and hang on!
great tutorial. I inherited a 186k mile 2004 ES330 and have been doing a deep dive into it's service records. It looks like Lexus Dealer initially defaulted to 30k interval service for the transmission, although that seems to have disappeared after it's 90k service and seems to never be mentioned or recommended by Dealer again. The 30k service includes the description: "... REPLACED TRANSMISSION FLUID, REPLACED DIFFERENTIAL FLUID, ..." and includes parts charge for 00279-000T4-01 ATF T-IV quantity #4 (that sounds right to me) but also includes parts charge for "DIFF GEAR LUB, BULK" quantity #2. Was this a mistake or scam? or just an poorly done auto-generated generic charge sheet? I thought that in this vehicle the front differential is combined with the automatic transmission (U151E) into a unit referred to by Toyota as "TRANSAXLE, FRONT" and fluid service is ONLY ATF T-IV. In other words - there is no separate front differential, correct? clarity would be much appreciated. My Dad sunk a lot in repairs into this car including a/c control motor, pass side air mix motor, (unrepaired sunroof), driver side blower servo, cracked dogbone, a/c compressor, and the inevitable 3MZ-FE valve cover gaskets. He also blew through gobs of tires and brake parts - IDK if that's typical or a result of how/where he drove in mountainous upstate SC. To be fair, problems only started accruing after ~100k. I did managed to swap out #1 cylinder coil wo the elaborate air plenum removal after it failed. I've got an AWD Highlander Hybrid w the 3MZ-FE and another with the 1MZ-FE so I've been down that road twice. Both due for Timing Belts - which I've never attempted before ..... Which is more important: mileage or elapsed time?
So when you add the 3 quart still was low and you did add 1/3 quart and was good level Do you you recommend adding 3,2 quart and then check the stream after , appreciate your reply
Great video man !! What are the odds they this is the video I clicked I’m also in north east PA !!! I’m looking to get one of these saws, where did you pick this on up at ? I was going to check out pocono lake supply
Hi I used the same exact oil for my 2021 Mustang gt but now every time I remote start or cold start I hear this loud piston slap. Didn’t happen before w the old oil I bought it with.. what could be the issue?
I had a ticking noise after I did an oil change in my car and didn’t know what that was until a ford master tech told me it was the notorious “coyote tick” I added an additive and it got rid of it. I recommend the liqui moly ceratec that’s the one I use
Just ordered some for my wifes tacoma, it see's mostly on road usage but i wanted something that would be decent in the snow and on gravel/ dirt roads. better than the average passenger tire but not too aggressive. i think this tire will fit the role well. on my truck ( which sees more off-road use) id go with some toyo open country's or some of the new falken wildpeak at4ws, but they are more expensive.
