Tennessee is great.. I lived there from 1997 to 2004.. low taxes, great restaurant scene , reasonable home prices….great weather….. Why did I ever mov back to NYC….??
I live in Texas and we don’t get any fall weather. It’s pretty much high 80s to low 90s until mid October. Then we get mid to low 80s until mid November.we might have some fall weather for a week or two towards the end of November beginning of December. Then cold until February.
I could just imagine what this place looked like when it was built in 1986 or so. Like a Laura Ashely catalogue vomited all over every room/wall/texture/surface/piece of furniture. Still a nice place, beautiful grounds, just not my style lol.

No that would be visible from the sides, stair runners are meant to be stapled in, they did it right. They just chose the hardest runner to hide staples on.. however there are metal rods you can use that hide the staples and holds the carpet in, it makes it look very dapper
Democrats heavily controlled the TN Legislature from before the Civil War to 1999. In 1999 the democrats moved in for the kill and tried to force an income tax on us. We rose up and defeated the measure and republicans have been in control ever since, and the state has prospered. We currently run a budget surplus of more than $2 billion. All that will change if democrats regain the stranglehold they held for 150+ years. Voter ID is required in TN and we don't do mail-in ballots, otherwise the democrats would have already regained control by cheating. If you're a blue state refugee and you vote blue, I am begging you to change the way you vote. You've been crapping in your own nest by voting blue; please don't come here so you can start crapping in ours. LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES. LEAVE YOUR MISTAKES BACK WHERE YOU'RE COMIN' FROM.

I know the corperate building will be done closer to 2025, but dont they have to build a restaurant first? I remember them saying that there will be a restaurant open in late 2024-2025
You need to do a comparison between Florida and Tennessee. Also, in your calculations you need to take into consideration the higher sales taxes in Tennessee. Tennessee chose to implement a consumption tax instead of an income tax. Also, please don't encourage liberals from those 2 states to move to Tennessee. I saw firsthand what it did in NC.

Lmao, Imagine being from California just to come to Tennessee and be realtors. "Small town feel and convenience?" Lmfao. You 2 clearly have no clue what you're talking about, but you're from California, I wouldn't expect you to. You're the reason native Middle Tennesseans can't afford a home anymore because you and your whole neighborhood have moved here and now dedicate your time to getting all the other communists to make things even worse for people that are from here. Traffic has increased beyond belief because we have no infrastructure improvements since before you guys moved in, our home prices have over double since 2018 because you guys come from out of state with big equity and beat natives out of homes in the city that they grew up in. Yeah, Nashville has a good job market, but the average salary in the city is nowhere near sufficient for the cost of homes now. And how about the 2020 property tax increase of 34%? Were you guys even here yet or still under the rule of Gavin Newsom? Yeah, the more people that move here, the more our property taxes increase because services cost even more than the tax revenue transplants are bringing in. You have zero clue on how many local businesses were impacted by that increase, but Nashville doesn't care about local longtime business owners anymore. Just because home are cheaper for transplants, doesn't mean they're cheaper for us. Just because the taxes are less transplants, doesn't mean they're less for us. Just because the traffic is less for transplants, doesn't mean it's less for us. Because it is infinitely more painful and expensive because YOU moved here. This sounds awful. A self contained town? It sounds like a 15 minute city. Even the name of it sounds creepy… “master planned community.” No thanks! So the next time something happens or the government tells us something is happening they’ll keep these people contained in their self contained town? Also, curated amenities? Nah, this is just dystopian creepy!
