Hi, I'm a born and bred norfolk girl who loves to get out 'n' about in the countryside. I love anything and everything to do with nature and our environment...and as you can probably guess from my youtube name, I love all species of bees! Whether it's woodland walk, a stroll on the beach, a ride out on our motorbike or just by pedal powe, just being out in all elements with husband Robert makes me happy and there's always an adventure to be had! The approach was better then the actual head of the three shires it looked Jenny. I saw nobody on your walk - mind you there may have been a few - just not on camera. The route down was definitely beautiful! We had two large groups pass us on the way to the bridge... nearly all of them in flip flops 😆 I didn't film much by the bridge as there were families in swimming. But never mind, it's good to see kids out enjoying themselves - we can just move on to quieter spaces! Thanks, Mark... all the best to you, too!
Lovely part of the PD...Bloody balloons get everywhere...you can get fined for dropping litter in a street but people release 100s of Balloons into the air for charity when they have no idea where they are going to come down...there are loads of them up on the moors...really gets my goat...please don't bring your kids to these beautiful places, they should be shut in their bedrooms watching Tick tok, like normal kids...ha ha..
I totally agree!! I see absolute red when I see balloons being let loose for celebrations and deaths!! It should be banned and made an offence to do so! I find them everywhere! They probably let them out of their bedroom windows!!

I don't think I've ever found rain gear that works. I just accept that if it rains, I'll be wet. My main focus is keeping my mobile phone dry. I figure the clothes will be laundered anyway. If it's cold I just add layers. They keep one warm even if they're soaked. I had bought an oilskin coat that was advertised to keep one completely dry. It didn't. I took a seven hour hike in the rain, and I was soaked through in about two hours, but I kept warm as long as I kept moving. It was a lot of fun stomping in all that mud.
Trouble with a lot of rainwear, it doesn't allow your body to breathe, so you end up being wet from sweat anyway! I'm happy walking in the rain (but as you say, not great for phones or some cameras), and I love a muddy walk!
I also have more trouble going down than coming up. It must have been difficult for such a densely-populated country to preserve such lovely wilderness, but I'm certainly glad you did.
Here in the UK, we're losing lots of landscapes to new builds - some say we need new houses to accommodate the growing population, but we have many industrial estates and commercial buildings that have been left to ruin that could be transformed into good living accommodation! But you're right, we do have some awesome places that are preserved and will always be there for us to enjoy!
It's strange how different jurisdictions handle trail closures. When I lived in Austin they would close the Barton Creek Trail when it rained, but I would just go around the barricades, and I found no dangers, and nobody arrested me. I never heard of trail closures due to weather when I was in Tucson. There was one time here in Phoenix when I was having great fun hiking in a winter storm and sat to eat lunch on a hill and then headed to the trailhead to drive home, and the rangers greeted me and said they had been waiting for me to leave so they could close the area due to flash flooding. Now they tell people the summit trail to Squaw Peak is closed if the temperature is over 110°F, but I don't think they arrested anyone who insisted on climbing (I would never try that; I can't handle that level of heat). I tried to climb Humphrey's Peak in winter several times. I succeeded often in summer, but in winter I only succeeded once. In those days the Forest Service didn't interfere, but years later they required a permit for winter climbing. Oh well, I'm too old to go there anymore. In summer the weather was better, but there was always terrible altitude sickness.
Hi, here in the UK we are very hot on health and safety... Nature reserves, in particular, would be held accountable for any accidents that could occur in bad weather! Sometimes, the restrictions are a bit over the top, and we could just be left to our own judgement whether we feel safe or not. A little bit of danger keeps us on our toes. You've academically embarrassed me. I have a bachelor of science degree in geography, and I had never heard of a pingo before this video. I had heard of glacial lakes in the Canadian Shield and the American Midwest, but "pingo" is a term I had not hitherto encountered. Any excuse to stomp in the mud is a good one! Thanks for posting!

What a superb walk Jenny. A gorge, a river source, and flowers and meadows with a river running through it. I have to say, that was the finest river source I've ever seen and I've found a few. For your 3rd walk, you weren't doing badly at all. Good going. Mark

I was enjoying the sound, too... it all adds to the fun of camping!Although, It was raining from 4am right through to 6pm, so I was ready for it to stop 😂 The next day was lovely and sunny 🌞
Back in Norfolk... only about 40 minutes from home! We're here for the weekend trying out a roof tent (alongside our normal tent) and it's rained all day 😂

Went boondocking last week for the first time in my truck camper the next morning was a couple of cows 🐄 not far away, luckily there was a fence to keep them away lol. Lovely country side and that wind lol, seems every video I try to shoot lately gets hammered with the wind lol. At least there's no flies lol. Definitely good job your cap was tied on lol. Oh, boondocking sound right up my street! Now that we've got into camping again, we're always trying to get on the wild/nearly wild sites! That's the nearest we get to remote and quiet 😅 We camping this weekend... trying out a roof tent! And what have we got here for the next two days! Gusty winds! 😂 I'm watching a couple of trees in my garden bend in half! So it'll be a case of, hold on to ya tent!!! 😂 Hope you have a wind-free weekend 😊
