I think i saw more wildlfie while driving the loop than i did on any of the hiking trails! A moose, several broad-winged hawks (one landed on a branch feet from my car, i parked and we just looked at each other for minutes), a spruce grouse, and so many butterflies!
Very beautiful trail! Highly recommended for experienced cyclists. Dozens of tricky rail crossings keep Huggins ER very busy. Narrow squeeze between rails @ busy Fernald’s Basin causeway. (See 40m10s for an all-too-common close encounter). 😮Avoid riding when wet/damp, or you might learn about “tramlining” the hard way!
Biggest little state in the union! You made me homesick. Excellent drone video and piloting! Smooth as she goes and artistic. You obviously love this hobby and the state, it shows. Newport in the Navy 68-70. Lived in Portsmouth 74-83. Great Job!
Nice flight. Heading up there soon to capture the lighthouses. Where did you launch if you don't mind me asking? Trying to film during sunrise. Hope to hear back.
Thanks! I launched from the end of the pier, and was down there for about half the shots in this video. The others I took from the shore just SW of the pier. You can se me walking down the pier at the 0:38 mark.
This is a great video!!! I love the reaction from the crowd. The multiple cameras on 1 screen was a great idea. It was an amazing eclipse and thank you for your time and skill capturing the event!!!
I was there and got video from up on the hill behind you...overlooking the lake. What a great day ! So enjoyed sharing that experience with so many people from all over the world.
It was a drone flown by a very inconsiderate pilot. Luckily no one around me even noticed it in the moment, but it's pretty annoying in all the videos. I had my drone up too, but it was well away from the crowd and 400 feet in the air, where no one could possibly see it.
Arthur, will you be paid if I subscribe to RU-vid Premium and download your video? I love this video. It is the closest thing yet that I have seen which matches the experience and what my eyes witnessed.
Wow, thank you. I'm really happy you're enjoying it that much! Unfortunately, no, I would not be paid from RU-vid, as I don't have enough subscribers to make money yet. I would be happy to share the video with you via Google Drive or something. If you feel like a financial contribution is worth it, to you, I would greatly appreciate that, and I will let you decide what it's worth to you.
Thanks for sharing. I see myself sitting on the corner of the hillside. Is there anywhere that I could download it for my memories. It was an absolutely incredible experience.
Well I think you can only download videos if you pay for a RU-vid premium membership, or whatever. But if you don't, I'd be happy sending you a shot or two with you in them, if you want. If you can tell me exactly where you're sitting, and what colors you're wearing, I can check to see if I have any other shots with you in them.
Eclipses are a conspiracy by the government to get you to buy those little cardboard glasses. Think about it - if the moon was really blocking the sun, you could look at it with your bare eye.
Do you mean the North Light on Block Island? I assume you're asking because it's part of the Wildlife Refuge? I actually did a lot of looking, and found nowhere that says drones aren't allowed at that location, so I just went when no one was there, launched from the beach, stayed away from the birds, and didn't stay very long.
Yeah, o was a little surprised when I started recording this project, too. Luckily, most of them are right around Narragansett Bay, so timewise, it turned out to be a little easier that I expected at the start. Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you.
