We unpick what makes the top cover artists so successful with our ‘inspire’ videos, and you can have YOUR cover reviewed right here on the channel.
Dude, we're in the middle of someone's performance and you pause to give us a travel log and the story of your dreams of traveling? Before, or after, but not during the performance, my man. Talk about disrupting the vibe!
Have you ever heard of David Phelps. Classily trained opera singer but chose to sing in his congregation. Oh Holy Night End of the Beginning Just as I Am (from Stories & Songs volume one)🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
You definitely should check out the original by Lara Fabian. There is no one who can put more emotion in to their voice then her. Absolutely incredible.
The one on the left is Bobby Bass. He is amazing and also part of the Bassgang and the Wellerman. If you have time you should checkt out both of those groups because they are absolutely awesome. And very bassy.
I have never heard the term "Legit singing" used in a professional context ever, and the concept of it is frankly infuriating because it implies that all other singing styles are "illegitimate" which is an extremely narrow view to take.
I realy like those bass harmonies. Sounds fantastic! Please, could you check out Dan Vasc's Nessun Dorma? I'd be so curious about your reaction. Greetings from Germany.
I once came across a reactor (I don't remember his name) who didn't care for the section with Kirsten towards the end because he felt it added too much of a pop element to what he considered a "classical" song. I don't know if he knew this was an original song that was written for an animated film. It bothered me at the time that he felt that way.
Thankyou for your fun reaction. There is so much to look forward to when discovering homefree.I just love them. They always make you feel something. #homefree ❤❤❤❤❤
They are performing the Celine Dion/Andrea Bocelli version of the prayer, so your first reaction to this song is just flat out wrong. They are presenting it perfectly and in my opinion better than the original.
Oh yes that is the Boss himself!...this is the true and only accepted version of Amazing Grace..Dan's voice speaks to your soul..love all his covers..he is the best!❤
A miracle was born. Dan Vasc's success reflects his hard work, dedication and passion for his craft. This boy is a true combination of talent, hard work and determination!!!! She literally becomes the song she sings and draws you into her world. Then all of a sudden he kicked in RU-vid's door and everyone is talking about him!!! Your star is rising higher and higher! You are a fantastic guy! I have never been impressed by a singer like this! It's a real heart booster to listen to him! And it's fucking good!!!/ sorry/ A grateful heart is a magnet for miracles.
Dan records 3 different times singing live and when he edits the video he puts the parts together, he doesn't lip sync, because he doesn't know how. It's him singing live and he edits the best parts from the 3 times he sang. The guitarist also recorded live and sent it to Dan to edit along with his singing.
Today, 4-25-24 , I just saw and heard Dan stream that he has to record VOCALS in his home studio, not in his garage. (As I had previously read.) He records his best vocal audio, and then goes into his garage to film the video from 3 different angles. Although he is ACTUALLY SINGING 3 times while the making videos, he can't use the vocals he sang while filming because the acoustics are bad in the garage
He blows my mind on all of his videos!!!! What a treasure Dan is to us all!!! We need to help him teach his one million subscribers! Not far to get there now!!! So go hit his subscribe button!!!
I also will chime in with those who know.... Dan, absolutely, does not LIPSYNCH! Anybody who does, generally, can be caught by watching his videos. Dan, usually, does his own arrangements, mixes, and mastering!
Beautiful background! Thanks, Phil, for reacting, and sharing your trip. The third man is Bobby Bass who has his own channel, and is part of The Bass Gang. Thanks for teaching me something. Most "reacts" just pause half way though the video and say something like "that was pretty" or "that's crazy" then say the same thing at the end. Thank you again for breaking down different techniques, excellent reaction.
I believe he does choose the best single vocal track then mixes in the 3 different camera angles for best effect. In this case he also mixes in the guitar tracks with his vocals He is professional and a Master of Music. The other instrumental tracks are mixed in also. That is why his videos are so very excellent and entertaining. He used to do his own mastering but now contracts that out I truly enjoy his work .
