Frederik Rabe (the first Singer) fronts the Giant Rooks and he has a playful voice with a tomboyish attitude in it, while Henning May (the Frontman of AnnenMayKantereit) has this Blues Rock / Hard Rock voice.

Im still here. Did a few reactions thru last week, havent had a chance to post them. went 4 states over to burry my grandmother over the weekend so been busy. Ill be back very very soon. Thank you for your concern tho, thats very nice.
Great reaction!! +1 sub and looking forward to more reactions (of all kinds) from you. I was prescribed meds for 20+ years that changed who I was. Even I could see it. But when doctors tell you 'you need this', you trust them and take the meds. Finding out later that you did not need them, but the medication had damaged your body is more than a little devastating. I did as I was told, took the meds and walked around in a chalk outline. I wasn't myself when I was on them, and I really didn't like the person I turned into. I finally was able to get off the meds and felt better after that.
If you think this is arrestable you should listen to Love Music part 4...lol. Ren likes to find the boundaries and then give a push. Technically this is a cover of his original. His "official" version is more rap less... reggae?
This a fantastic version but you probably would have been better off listening to the original version first, so that you'd have had a better appreciation of what he did with that track here, in a live acoustic version. It's quite different from the original but absolutely brilliant, of course! :)
Check out his band The Big Push covering I shot the sheriff. Showcasing so much more of his talents. Chalk outlines. Is another good one. So many great things from this "BARD". And yes, he's famous for his one takes and live recordings (not produced in studio).
I hope the cat is o.k. Everyone seems to have answered your other questions. Ren sometimes has quite an R rated sense of humor (or should I say humour since he is British?).

Good to see you active on RU-vid again after so long. New Five Finger Death Punch is very different since their guitarist (I think, could be another member) left. Haven’t really formed my opinion on it yet personally.
Yea, a cover, in a manor of speaking, of good original by the same name released not long before this one was so look back for it. It's better in my opinion

This is Ren's original song but in the live acoustic version Ren is giving homage in this new opening to Ina Kamoze (In the streets they call it MURDER) but right after that Ren plays the same guitar riff of Barrington Levy's "Murderer" including the scatting in Levy's song, all before starting his own song . Ren also gives homage to Dr. Dre with the guitar riff from Dre's "Next Episode" ft. Snoop Dog. (probably because this was shot in LA while Ren was on holiday. Also using the slang "Beeotch" was a tip of the hat to Snoop, who was the 1st to coin it). I believe Ren's guitar solo was an homage to another one of Ren's musical influences Django Reinhardt. Reinhardt being the famous Jazz guitarist who; if I'm not mistaken, was actually the 1st to introduce Jazz to the UK. In my humble opinion, that was very much a 30-40's riff reminiscent of Reinhardt's music. 💖 Cheers ✌✌😁..
Also an interesting fact, Ren released this live version on the day of hip hops birthday, August 11th. Never heard if it was intentional, but wouldn't be surprised if so.
