Wow I dropped my car off today at the dealer because my top would go down but not back up, they called me and said $5,000. I found this video and told the service tech “no thanks” I’m coming to pick my car up. Just picked it up and tried this, I let the top up and down 3x with NO issues!!! THANK YOU!

You may have a mechanical problem then. I would take it to a dealership.
