Since reading his book several years ago I have considered David Wallace-Wells one of the most important voices on the subject of climate change. But his answer to the question on the value of individual action is a great disappointment. He seems to believe that political action is more valuable. But for us to rely on politicians and large corporations to solve the problem while we continue to live our lives as though we can do nothing about it is childish and self serving and ultimately suicidal. Should we all stop voting because it’s just one out of millions? If we keep buying the product they will keep drilling for it!

I watched all their the TV shows of Little House on the Prairie , including Repeat. I bought all the Little House Books , read them in the early 1980's . I even watched the 2 hour ( last ) Movie . And years later , named my Daughter After "Laura" Ingalls . I was really Obsessed for the TV shows, Movie, etcc.
The fact that Trump only "wins" golf tournaments put on by his own clubs is a yuge tell that he cheats. If he is such a good golfer, let him enter a PGA tournament where he HAS to play by the rules. Something tells me he wouldn't even come close to qualifying.

I now suppose that when I write on my laptop I still feel the same... though the computer IS great for editing and honing! I do not know where would I be without that facility!

So I was blocked by Ijeoma Oluo on her Facebook page because I commented on her post that I, a mixed race Black woman, experienced less support because I failed to meet the criteria for the “perfect victim” - the topic of Ijeoma’s post. I had a post in August 2020 with a similar theme to her post from yesterday about abused animals eliciting more sympathy than abused humans. I cited myself as an example. I was racially oppressed by a whyte woman and wannabe whyte woman and started a petition to raise awareness of it. I noticed that there weren’t many people who look like me who supported me, and mentioned that DiDi Delgado even insulted me in a comment. I didn’t know that DiDi Delgado and Ijeoma were BFFs so I didn’t expect Ijeoma to block me, but she did. The irony of not meeting her criteria for empathy is not lost on me. This is why we as Black women will not have the collective strength to effect meaningful social change. We are a house divided. The difference between myself, Ijeoma, DiDi Delgado and all the other Blacktivists is that I am a private person who has thus far not monetized my pain in the form of a book, a podcast, or even a Facebook page. I have no books to sell anyone. I have not made one red cent out of the pain caused by all the racist oppression I have endured. I speak the truth from my lived experience and I made the mistake of commenting on Ijeoma’s Facebook page that her friend, DiDi Delgado, hurt me, a NOBODY. So she does what any neurotypical woman would do - she blocks me as if I was the BAD person for talking about what bothers me.
Yet another group of stories that will be ignored by right wing hypocrites. A man that cheats at golf, especially to this extent,has no honor and no desire to better himself as a man and as a competitor. These stories are very consistent with his sore loser attitude after the 2020 election. This man has never been called out or held accountable for his low life cheating ways and when he finally was,he acted like a spoiled brat. Donald Trump is a Grade A certified piece of 💩 LOSER.
