Unlike the Germans, the Japanese are kind-hearted and do not assert themselves, so they admitted to doing things they did not do. Not only that, they even admitted to completely false and unfounded war crimes, and paid huge amounts of reparations. Japan's good neighbors thought that the Japanese were kind-hearted, so they would take advantage of them and squeeze more out of them, and fabricated evidence was spread all over the world after the war, but don't be fooled by it. After the war, the United States justified the mass murder of Japanese civilians, genocide, internment camps, and war elephant crimes, and fabricated the story that Japan had done heinous deeds in Asia to say that they, white people, were heroes of justice. The desire to receive as much support from the United States and as much reparations from Japan as possible, and the fear of being colonized again if the United States looked down on them, easily made the countries surrounding Japan anti-Japanese. At that time, a large number of false victims and evidence were manufactured. For example, the Nanjing Massacre. Why is the number of civilians living within a 50km radius of Nanjing at that time much less than the number of civilians killed in the Nanjing Massacre? With the size of the Japanese military deployed in Nanjing at that time, it would have taken three months to kill that many people, unless the United States used inhumane methods such as atomic bombs and incendiary bombs, so why is it said that so many people were killed in just a few days? If the military was superior enough to do that, it would have been impossible for them to be at a disadvantage in the Pacific War. Not only are there a large number of documents and lists showing that Japanese military prostitutes were paid salaries dozens of times higher than soldiers, but there was a strict application test to become a prostitute, so were they forced to do it? Even in the same mines, Japanese workers were paid less than Korean workers (still several dozen times higher than ordinary farmers in Korea), and the casualty rate was higher, and there were interviews and only motivated people could become high-paid miners, so were they forced to work? The relatively low number of Korean soldiers killed in battle shows that Japan did not treat India like Britain did, treating it like a pet. After the annexation of Korea, lessons in Hangul began in Japanese schools, and textbooks from that time still remain, so why did Japan ban Hangul? In the first place, literacy rates for Hangul began to increase in Korea some time after the annexation, so it is a bit of a stretch to say that Hangul was taken away by Japan. Japan did not suppress any independence movements other than those criticizing the Emperor System, and even within Japan, since Japan had built the foundation for a modern nation, there were discussions about giving independence to Korea and Taiwan, but they were not suppressed at all. In fact, there are still passages calling for independence in newspapers from that time that escaped confiscation and destruction by SCAP. However, anything that even slightly criticizes the Emperor is subject to censorship.

As a Mongolian, i don't like that Khubilai abandoned the development of Mongolia and lived permanently in China. I would say he was opportunistic because China had infrastructure and manpower as well as nice taxing.

Daoguang's Harem is why I think Qianlong's step Empress was Ula-Nara, not Hoifa-Nara. Daoguang and his grandfather had a great relationship, so it would make you wonder, if the step empress was Hoifa-Nara, why did Daoguang have three Hoifa in his Harem? Why did he have Xianfeng with the more higher titled lady? Something to ponder.

😢sadly, in the context of "what if",this reign would have played a pivotal role before china succumbed to the communists. Such corruption, decadence, oppression, and other forms of depravity forced the people to hate it and would prefer other forms of misery than the rules if the manchus. The nationalist grip on the people was weak which led to their defeat in the great civil war, but little did the people knew...they are heading for hell...

Zhu Yuanzhang's family was a poor farmer. He had three sisters and three brothers. When he was young, his family suffered famine and almost all of them died. Father, mother, eldest brother, second brother, third brother, third sister, almost all died of starvation or disease. The only remaining members of Zhu's family were him, his second brother, his eldest brother's wife, and his youngest son. When his father died, he and his second brother carried his father's body on a doorsheet , but could not find a place to bury him because the poor peasants had no ownership of the land. After finally borrowing a piece of land from the landlord to bury his father, the Zhu family fell apart. Zhu Yuanzhang worked as a monk and beggar before joining the rebel army. Because of the above reasons, he is considered to be the emperor with the lowest starting point in Chinese history. Btw, People in the Yuan Dynasty had no names, so Zhu Yuanzhang was called Zhu Chongba(Chong 8), his father was called Zhu Wusi (5 and 4 ), and his eldest brother to his third brother were called Chongsi to Chongqi (Chong 4 to Chong 7). The name Zhu Yuanzhang came to him after he joined the rebel army.

This is the biggest myth of contemporary Chinese history. Just like the PR people hyped up Covid, the same techniques were used to retired the title "emperor" But China is a dictatorship, and someone had to be in charge at the very top. But for political and ideal reasons, they have to change the title. They can also retain the title and make it powerless like several countries, but they did not. The title been changed to chairman of the communist party, commander in chief of the military, and he also chair maybe a dozen + committees. What he said are just done quietly and quickly, no one dare to question him on anything, so effectively, he is an emperor. The latest person name is Xi, before that was Deng, Mao etc. There been some changes in centuries pass, he is not as powerful as before, he cannot appoint his son to his job, you are allowed to look at him now without permission, and he cannot order anyone executed publicly on the spot (have to do it quietly) and he cannot publicly have a harem, other than that, he is every inch an emperor, in all but title. Puyi maybe the last to hold the title , but he was not the last "emperor"
