I am also facing same issue in my new model tata safari accomplished manual. I have bought it on 15 Dec 2023 it’s been 6 months and my running is 4800km.But service centre is not exchanging my clutch plate. They are saying you have to pay for it. SP Autohub Tata Motors Ratnagiri.
Same thing happened with my Harrier fearless plus (face lift) MT. It’s hardly 4 months old and driven only 4,000 Kms, it happened in bumper to bumper traffic in Bangalore, service center people said clutch override happened, they haven’t replace it saying it’s just minor burn, as of now it is working fine, I am still worried to go for long drive with the family.!
Hi.. I am facing similar issue and Tata Service Centre - Saibaba Autowheels in Kalewadi, Pune - 411033 had denied to replace burnt clutch free of cost.. Can we please connect on this issue ? Need some guidance.. @one extra mile
I got my harrier one day back and in one day there was a burning smell of the clutch plate, i got it from tathawade, pune 411057 ... Did you get your clutch plate?
I am having same pblm . I m having Tata safari while in jam I got my clutch plates burned..but service centre refused to change the clutched and charging rs 60000 ..I left the car in service centre

Hey I too faced the same problem with the safari xzplus dark edition. I stopped the car for 30mins to one hour to cool it down and again it worked properly. But after that I avoided using the car in heavy traffic jam.. there is this issue with safari and harrier cars...
Please don't waste your money by buying TATA cars, I had a very bad experience within the first 300 km drive, only build quality is good other than that everything is worse, values your money.. TATA is looting money from customers..
Hello sir , I have faced the same issue in Pune traffic,there is too much burning smoke came out .We were so panic . Should I change the clutch plates bcz , service centre peoples from Pune said there is no need to change ,becz ur cars pick up is ok with gear shifting. If have problem with service centre should you send me your mobile number for number? If you are ok
brother I'm using tata punch car from 5nd half months yesterday when I was driving some smoke came from Bonet after stopping the car also I'm getting burnt smell inside nd outside now also .. any suggestions plz .
Today I faced it 😢. With new safari 2022 model. I kept the car idle for 1 hour and the clutch started working. It's all because of heavy traffic jam ..
@@rps5952 I avoided going into traffic after that incident...still don't know if that issue will araise. But it will happen again if I use the car in heavy traffic driving it in 2 and 3 gears.. I will solve this when I take the car again to service center
This happened with my Harrier as well. It was brand new and went on a long trip and the clutch plate got burned, there was smoke everywhere and I had to stop the car. Tata did change the clutch plates free of charge. But ever since then my clutch has become very hard. Had it changed two times in the past 2 years but the problem still persists. Tata service center always charged me saying it was not covered under warranty, and always blamed me saying I was a bad driver. I drove more than 20 cars in the past 10 years, never had any issues with any other cars, and no one ever called me a bad driver. Worst service from Tata.
Sir same problem in my harrier car clutch burning issue but Sri Ganganagar tata service center not change he said only 50000 km running car on warranty but my car 62000 running so you paid. What's your suggestions
I faced the same issue thrice. Now the service center is saying they have to change the clutch assembly along with flywheel which would cost approx 1 lakh🥴
They are hopeless! The problem unbelievably was with a new one ....August 30th 2022 delivered one.....on driving for about (less than) 150 kilometres. The feel of using this new car is awful... as if it's a used old car overly charged. A burnt smell and smoke on the left side of the engine was detected. Clutch problem.... No replacement of clutch. They just say, drive with full clutch and put notes as briefed the customer and educated the customer about clutch. It's a bad make and useless model to cause financial drain as much as a compromise with peace. I don't think they even care about their products or services, as long as they meet their sales targets and make their money... only for the peace compromised people to wonder what type of fools they have been to buy a useless piece ....creating unnecessary hassles. It's like buying trouble compromising on one's peace of mind!
I noticed that, while driving the car, burning smell is coming out and can be felt inside the cabin. AC was ON with recirculation mode. Please note- burning smell does not come out at the speed of [hidden] or lower. It comes out only at higher speed.
I purchased Tata Safari 2021 in the month of October ..till now 3 times clutch burnt and now flywheel also burnt approx cost 60K. I should buy crysta instead of this
Apki baat se laga ki tata improved quality of clutch plate. Is it true. I have booked manual version xzplus. Little worried. Agar still wahi aa rahi hai will go for automatic version
