Instead of having the control panel for the table in that obscure location, why not keep it in the same pillar and have it in the living room area, where it’s being used? I understand the idea of keeping things out of sight, but in reality that little cubby became much less effective for storage if you’re having to reach and slide the back panel. So you’ll either rarely put the table down, or rarely maximize the storage, which is obviously a huge deal for van life.
This is a winning design. I am very confident that this van is going to be a huge success if the price is right. I guess it's going to be over 100 grand.
@@_purge9488its not just about seatbelts, other seats and things have to be crash and safety rated too. You can't put 25 folding chairs inna cargo trailer and fill it up with people
Nop ...dont like it ..dont own a flat bed.. Once its mounted cant get to the battery box door... Propane exposure to the inside compartment... This aint 🇺🇸 ... They wont even allow this in our country.. Did i see traction boards stored inside??? . that will be nice full of mud..
The addition of a snorkel makes more sense after Alex explained it. Not for water fording like I initially thought, but to get the air intake higher and away from the dust.
Why would you show and market this at a “van” expo instead of an over landing expo? How would someone with a van utilize it? People with trucks(your target demographic) go to overland and off-road expos…
Truck camper vendors have found the expo to be pretty beneficial for them. A good amount of potential van buyers already have a truck, and sometimes they see something like this and think "Well I could just add this to what I already have, instead of selling the truck and buying a whole new vehicle."
Aluminum shower stalls? Aluminum will corrode if exposed to water if it is not anodized and it’s highly unlikely that Atlas used anodized sheet aluminum to build that shower. Marine grade stainless steel will last forever
Currently looking into getting a van to convert. Absolutely love the shower/toilet! Would it be possible to add more storage space with the collapsible storage units?
Very innovative. Really like the floor battery, different floor mounts, individual heaters and the longer bump outs. Everything looks well thought out and integrated into a package that rivals the larger RV mfgrs. Good point on the RVIA rating also!
