I just got my joint done for 25.00 I'm not a rich man it was a blessing.These goofy barbers most of them can't cut anyway charging 60 and 50 dollars hair with whack cuts.
I've been going to the same Asian barbershop my whole life. I'm nearly 40 years old now. They have gone from 2.99 haircuts to 7.99. I give my barber 20.00 now, but I don't go as often as I did in my teens and early 20s. Now, probably every 3 months, I comb it back now and trim my own beard. Back then, it was a tapper fade, daddy yankee style every 2 weeks.
But your not doing nothing extra and charging more that’s the problem spraying paint on someone head and charging $100 is crazy and those prices was for home visits if I want hot towel and massage yes I’ll pay more but yall crazy trying to justify $100 cut for just a shape up

There’s also legit barbers and hairstylists who’ve been around a long time that will do a cut for 25 and it’s worth just as much if not more than an 80 dollar cut

My nigga shuttup. Weve all had haircuts and been getting them for years. You all can cut hair in 30 mins. $25 plus tips do the fucking math. Yall barbers be wanting to be in the shop for 3 hours a day so yall raise the prices. Yall barbers done turned into divas and beauticians trynna keep up with trends. It doesnt matter if they got my fro off or a taper its $30 to be exact and thats still too much. We used to get crazy clean cuts for $10 but because you barbers want to price gouge a fucking cut were cheap…. ITS NOT WORTH IT! Im not paying more than 40 for a haricut period. 70% barbers trippen. I have a home girl and even she admits they over charge. She gets paid sometimes up too 100+ for a fade but done with a blade. Still charges me 20 and i always tip her another 20. 40 every single time and she gets down.

Better than paying 80$ for a barber that cant razor shave hair cuts mediocre. I had a barber that did 30$ he raised to 40$ and i still paid not cheap i respect the work you capping when a barber doesnt do shaves and wanna use clippers to cut a beard hes lazy also not talking about depends on where you live
Is this guy justifying the price gauging currently happening in this space? $35 is the cheapest haircut you can find in NJ and it’s not particularly good. Every two weeks I pay $40 plus tip. It’s horrendous.
