I know George C. Scott wanted to play his role as a serious one, but why? The more comedic role that he was tricked into playing is some much better, and fit perfectly with the theme of the movie! I can’t imagine the movie being as funny as it is if Scott had played it his way!

It's taken me decades to finally realize that it makes no difference who I vote for and who's President. ALL governments in all countries are the most corrupt organizations in the world. They will end up killing us all. If not by war, then by the food we eat and the drugs we take. The human experiment has completely failed. We don't have much longer and our grand children will curse us all for the cesspool we will leave them. We're f#@ked.

People like George Carlin tried so hard to warn others and show them the truth, and for what??? 20 years later and the only thing people still get from hearing any of this is "🤣 man George really schooled those people"! Same problem today. Republicans would vote for someone that sexually abused their mother as long as that person said "snowflake" or "libtard". watching this reminds me, don't speak off the cuff. Just four people yelling at each other with no consideration of the merits of any other person's arguments. I think we've actually come a long way since the early 2000s at least in my experience. I'd say even Bill Maher has come a long way the past few decades in terms of more civil discourse.

Horace sounds like the most naive guy on the planet. "There is no national conspiracy to buy elections and control america" lets unpack that for a second. The definition of cinspiracy: 1)a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful 2)the action of plotting . Ok, lets assume that there is (was at the time of this being filmed) 0 corruption in the government whatsoever. No one or body was controlling elections. Democracy was 100 percent functioning perfectly. Lets just asusme that for the sake of argument. Does this guy seriously believe, that no where, anywhere, in the entire world, was anyone/ any entity at the very least TRYING to do so? No enemies of america trying to hijack our elections and institute puppets? No one within our own country, with the money and resources to do so, was CONSPIRING to control the country? I love how George Carlin is sitting there in his infinite wisdom that he always possessed schooling multiple lawyers on this panel with logic games. There will never be another Carlin and I would put money on the notion he is the most savvy, witty and intelligent comedian to ever walk the face of the earth. If he was still alive today he’d be having a field day.
